Fantastic! Great quality lean white chicken from from whole meat, no bulk additives. Shelf stable so can keep on hand for quick cooking for one or two. I have chronic illness and energy issues so this both provides great protien and is so easy to use. Just scoop a half cup out, toss it in your soup, it hydrates right there. Easy peasy. I waited a long time to try dried meat because the cost seemed high. I've changed my mind. Doing the math with canned 5oz or 12oz servings, it's quite comparable. Plus no mess and far fewer preservatives and sodium. Highly recommend. My picture shows my Ramen. I used freeze dried chicken, spinach, tomato, and bell pepper powders. A block of Gluten Free Ramen, and assorted spices and such. The chicken is so real it's actually "stringy" with the grain like fresh. No sludge here.

I love this stuff for backpacking and camping, lightweight, single ingredient. And easy to reconstitute and flavor it up. Lasts forever and is a giant can. I appreciate that they don't add salt so you can flavor it however you like and if you're worried about sodium there is no added sodium to start. Great product

I finally opened one of these to try it out and can confirm this is the real deal. Inside is a lot of chicken once rehydrated. It makes a great protein addition to a vegetarian frozen meal and I feel good about having these on hand for good measure. Taste is like plain chicken and that’s what it should be. The can (assuming it arrives undamaged) is thick and durable. An inherent drawback is that you need to rehydrate thoroughly or the freeze dried nature of this will irritate your throat. Also an inherent but real drawback (and the reason I removed a star) is that freeze dried chicken is brittle and turns to small bits or even powder easily. This has to get shipped to you and the can I opened had significant turned to powder. While ideally you’d have this all as cubes, it doesn’t affect the quality to ga e it powdered and if anything. It’ll rehydrate better. There’s nothing wrong with adding a scoop of chicken powder to a meal to add lean meat protein and that’s exactly what this is for at the end of the day. I keep buying these from time to time for the long term.
