I purchased this 32GB Kingston FURY Impact DDR5 kit to upgrade my laptop's factory memory. When dealing with high-speed laptop RAM, stability and heat management are my primary concerns, and after running several stress tests, here is how this kit performs. Installation & Compatibility Physical installation was straightforward, as expected with standard SO-DIMM modules. Upon the first boot, the system took a slightly longer time to POST—which is completely normal for DDR5 memory training. After that initial boot, my laptop recognized the full 32GB capacity and automatically locked into the advertised 5600MT/s speed at CL40 timings without requiring any manual adjustments in the BIOS. Performance & Stability The performance improvement is clean and consistent. Under heavy multitasking workloads—running multiple development environments, containerized applications, and dozens of browser tabs simultaneously—the system handles the memory pressure without stuttering. I ran a full MemTest86 cycle, and the kit passed with zero errors, confirming excellent factory sorting and signal integrity. Thermals Despite the high transfer rate of 5600MT/s, the modules run surprisingly cool. Laptop chambers are notoriously cramped, but these thin thermal labels seem efficient enough to prevent thermal throttling during prolonged workloads.

Have worked perfect so far, and got them at a good price, so no complaints

This is my second time using Kingston Fury RAM. I installed these in my MSI Vector 16 RTX 5070ti laptop and it booted up fine. There was no need to adjust timings in the BIOS, as these are already at the factory to run at 5600MT/s. Stability has been good with no issues at all. I would buy these again, because I've had good experiences with the Fury brand. I do a lot of multitasking, so 32 GB is the ideal capacity for my use case. I recommend either waiting for a sale or doing what I did, save your Amazon Credit Card Reward points to either pay for or offset the cost, because current RAM prices are still higher than they should be.

Works great in my HP Victus 15-fb2082wm. I went from 1/8th of my laptops RAM cap to 1/2 it's max capacity. This is a temporary ram upgrade for me but the dual 16GB Kingston Fury Impact cards are working good... At least until I can afford to purchase some dual 32GB cards of theirs later on so I can reach my laptops max RAM capacity.

After 2 months, decided to double the RAM from 16 to 32GB in my new Acer Nitro 17 laptop after noticing Windows 11 utilized over 25% of total RAM capacity even when running at idle, not leaving much excess for really intensive apps or heavy multi-tasking. OEM RAM was (2x8GB) DDR5 5600CL46 by Hynix. Several good brands to choose from for the RAM upgrade (Corsair, Crucial, Hynix, Patriot, Gskill, etc.), but these Kingston Fury Impact 5600CL40 SODIMM's stood out. Not only do they run at 5600MHz speed, but also have better latency (CL40, as opposed to CL46 for the other brands). Price was reasonable as well (in fact, cheaper than most of the others; and co-incidentally, using chips made by OEM manufacturer Hynix), so I can definitely recommend Kingston Fury Impact RAM as a compatible and excellent upgrade for this AMD-based laptop. CPU-Z utility shows the new 32GB RAM working fine at 5600 MHz speed and CL40 latency. Now when laptop is running at idle, Windows 11 only uses about 12% of RAM, leaving much more for app-related purposes, so everything should run more smoothly and quickly, even when multi-tasking.

This product came in quickly and was packaged really well. Everything feels sturdy and not cheap at all. Setup was simple and it worked right away without any problems. I’ve used it multiple times already and it’s been consistent every time. Great value for the price and I’d definitely buy again.

Worked out of the box in my lenovo laptop.

Purchased these ram sticks for a firebat mini pc. The performance is stellar. The one downside is it seems to throttle due to overheating in ps2 emulation. I was able to solve that by getting copper heat shields that fit these smaller sodimms along with a smaller second fan. The trade off is i have to keep the top cover off the mini pc case becausethe fan doesn't fit the case it'stoo large. Back to the ram it's supposedly only 1.1v which is a slight increase from 1.0v of the other ram that came pre-installed with the computer. Very surprised that just a little bit in voltage can cause so much more heat... For comparison the slower ram that came with the pc never throttles at all. The great performance is as advertised but the heat should be a consideration for anyone looking to get a mini pc ram upgrade. Buyer beware just my two cents.
