These work well. I love that they are rechargeable, and that you can leave them on to zap bugs while you’re not around.Pros:- Easy assembly.- Has two different modes for use: continuous on, and activate with button. You can also turn it off to save battery.- Two different buttons, so no matter how you hold it, you can activate the zapper.- It looks nice, not too cheap. The blue light can even be a night light.- It seems to attract bugs. I’ve heard it zapping bugs at night when I leave it plugged in on the kitchen counter. Our biggest problem is gnats, or fruit flies.Cons:- It can startle you with the zapping noise. It’s kind of like a spark. But you get used to it after a while.- It might not kill the fly or wasp on the first try. It might just stun them. So watch where it falls, and finish off the job if they are still moving (with your shoe or something).- The battery does run down if you leave it on and not charging. I haven’t measured how long it lasts, but it’s less than 8 hours.- It only comes with a charging cord, no plug. It charges via USB port, so have something to plug that into.- When leaving it active (on) in its cradle, you will need to clean up the dead bugs that it has killed.I really like this bug zapper. I got it to take to my grandmother, but I might get another one for myself. It’s a combination active swatter and in-place zapper. I’ve had a lot less fruit flies since I started using it.

Wow we've been really impressed.. These things will kill a bumble bee on impact and any wasp with ease. And then the standalone sentry mode they're not quite as powerful but they still not mosquitoes,moths & flies.

When I first received this product it was hard for me to kill a gnat. I had to literally trap it when it landed on something, I couldn’t just kill it mid air like the other one I had. Then after a couple of uses, neither one would hold a charge. This product is trash and a waste of money.

Bye bye yellow jackets! I've killed several already. Love these! When I'm outside on nice days, I keep one in the back porch and one on the front porch. Zap and whack! You need this if your allergic! You need the wider area to make sure you don't miss! These are life savers! I've had them a while and they stay charged very well. I'm taking one with me on a 3 day trip!

Great fly sweater, also works great at night to put it in its cradle and have it zap bugs during the night. It does really spark when you hit a fly.

These are fun to use. I feel like a ninja on a showdown with the houseflies. The electrical zap on these are no joke. Fly loses on contact.

The beautiful sounds made as my Lulu zaps mosquitos! I initially thought it wouldn't hold a charge, but I was wrong. It has to be in the off position to charge. I am now fully charged and zapping skeeters like there's no tomorrow!!! Well made and very effective.
