Made my dog Spunky
Buddy would go funky spunky each month when I put this down his back. Never had any ticks. And he didn't have any side effects. He passed away in March 2024, so I will miss his two minutes of silly when I applied this to him.

It works, but check your packaging
I found this works just as well as any other flea/tick medication, and does not irritate my dog's skin. However, check your packaging within 30 days of order date on Amazon. I bought a 6-pack in August, and the first 3 tubes were fine. (They are packaged 3 tubes per clear plastic inner pack.) Four months later, I opened the second 3-pack, and discovered that 2 of the tubes had leaked -- badly. So, I paid for 6 but got only 4 usable doses. Because I'm well past the 30-day return window, Amazon won't help. SO, the next time I order, I'll check all the tubes as soon as the 6-pack arrives. Other that that, this is a good product.

Good Product at a Good Price
I only have 2 dogs but this is perfect for a 3 month supply for the 2 I have. It seems to keep the pests at bay & it has Aloe Vera in it so I figure it is a little easier on my dogs skin.

Works so far
I use this for my 85 lbs lab. Apply once a month, wait 2-3 days, give him a bath, then repeat in a month. He's never had any fleas while on this. He's an inside dog so I'm sure that helps but still happy with the product.

Ultra Guard Yes, But Also Ultra Slimy
Product appears to work as intended as have had no issues while using it, but ultimately not sure if I will continue to use this in the long run. While it is a good option for the cost and ease of application, the product leave the pups fur slimy/oily around the area it was applied and beyond. It had no apparent scent, which is good but it’s not like it’s just excessive as it doesn’t wipe off. It give his coat an almost wet look to it and will stay that way until a good bath. In order to make sure the application is effective, I don’t want to wash him too soon after it’s been applied so generally I choose to leave it like that for about a week. In the end it was a tough call to rate it just three stars as I think the product does work in protecting fleas and ticks, but since it results in that appearance and needing a good bath several days later to get the residue off, I can’t really give it more than three stars. Maybe it’s works better on other breeds that have different coats, but not with my pup.

Really works and is safe!
We’ve been using this product for several years. We get el it’s safer than the prescription medication for flea and tick prevention. We have two dogs at present and they do well with this treatment. They are mostly indoors but are outdoors awhile on nice days. We are dog lovers and have had dogs for over 25 years and have never had a pet who experienced a reaction after using this medication. And no fleas or ticks! If your pet already has fleas it may take longer to get rid the pests but the key is prevention. We treat our dogs the first of every month and couldn’t ask for more from a product!

Waste of money
I thought bec this is a name brand, that it would work well. NOPE. The ticks are having to be pulled off daily. They aren't even buying and dying. Don't waste your money!Another problem is, a veterinarian stated that companies on Amazon are also copying the ingredients that other companies have listed, and acting like they have the same ingredients when they don't.
