I’ve had on and off breakouts for years and usually oddly I always used a tattoo balm that worked perfectly. Recently, I started fasting a lot more consecutively and being in a calorie deficit. Let me tell you THIS WORKS!! Yes the smell isn’t the best but it’s not like you’re buying this to smell it. We’ve all used a sharpie before and it doesn’t smell the best, but do we buy the sharpie to smell it? No, we buy it for the use. The smell doesn’t bother me. I agree with the whole rubber smell but it is what it is. It’s easy to use. I mainly just put it on Q-tips and apply where needed. I literally applied it in the morning after I showered and left it on all day till night time when I got home. Let’s just say that I went from a level 10 severity to a level 1! More than anything that I had tried recently. I’m now on day two of it and is working just fine. I honestly didn’t even need anymore, but I’m just doing a second day just to make sure. I will definitely keep this in rotation for emergencies. Now when it comes to the side effects. Yes you will feel a burning sensation, but it’s very temporary. Lasts maybe 10 to 25 minutes. A very small price to pay for the hours of comfort you receive. Think about it like mouthwash. A good mouthwash is gonna burn but you know it’s killing off the bacteria and you accept it. 10 minutes later you feel great and fresh. Think about it like that it doesn’t smell the best, burns for a little, but you will feel and look amazing throughout the day in the next day I’m so glad I tried this out! If you’re on the fence about buying this, trust me, you’ll thank me later!

Yes, the scent is of rancid olive oil exposed for one thousand years. Yes, this product is effective dealing with irritation. It helps return the skin back to balance. Effective within a day or so. It is best with the wash, and the vitamin C, l-lysine powder that FemiClear sells. Great combination to return body back into balance.

A good ointment but need to use it at the first sign of blisters. It does takes time to heal depending on the size of the blisters. Best to use 3-4 times a day.

I never write reviews ever but this time is different. I was diagnosed with genital herpes 1 year ago and my initial outbreak was so bad that I had to call out of work for 2 weeks and I basically lived in a bathtub 24/7 because I couldn’t do anything else. Since then my outbreaks have been very mild lasting only a day or 2 with very mild discomfort. This most recent outbreak was different. I was back to the pain of my initial outbreak, going on day 11 of extreme pain, I couldn’t walk or sit, I couldn’t sleep or work. It was a fing nightmare all over again. I was so desperate that I did an overnight order to a friends house for this product and ended up paying almost $20 more for it but it was my last option.So far this is the only thing that has given me any relief in the last almost 2 weeks. Yes, the product is very liquidy and you only need the smallest drop at a time so it’s a little difficult to work with because of the packaging. The other thing is the burning sensation that you feel after first applying. I only felt this on the larger or more irritated sores and it was pretty uncomfortable, I actually got pretty lightheaded from the pain. I used my hair dryer on cool to ease the burn and did that for maybe 10 seconds and the burning went away. I had immediate relief after using femiclear the first time, then I reapplied maybe an hour after and then went to sleep. The next morning (maybe 6 hours later) I was absolutely shocked that I had almost no pain or discomfort from my outbreak. I was able to get myself out of bed and walk around AND use the restroom without crying and hating my life. I reapplied for the third time total after my shower that morning and I didn’t have any burning sensation at all.To sum it up I will keep this product forever. I plan to use it at any sign of an outbreak and throughout an outbreak but I know that I might feel the uncomfortable burning sensation but honestly if it makes my outbreak go away faster then it’s worth it to me.

Let’s just start with- if you were in the middle of the deepest parts of a forest…..you will be found on SCENT ALONE. I have cats and a cane corso & hunnnyyy when this product is used - the whole house is aware. The smell is not discreet - if anything it adds to the situation of not only the “feeling” of what you’re dealing with - but now this product is all you smell and feel it is a clear distinctive smell for anyone else because there is no other scent like it.At first application- sure, you’re thinking, those reviews I read were so extreme- but no, no, no, you should apply 4 times per day minimum- so at this point, the scent feels as if it is overpowering everything and you are walking around with a big H on your chest.The scent is certainly something that makes me HIGHLY reluctant to use it and the “healing” or “faster healing” is hard to determine because I’ve honestly been so lost in how I smell to really notice if it works better / faster.If the scent was more so like the wash- mild and not as attention grabbing- sure, but they’re volumes apart.Oh?! And let’s not even talk about the packaging?! Why is an OIL pouring out of a tube, why not a dropper or a thicker consistency if a squeezable tube is the company’s preference. A highly oil based product is being lost in a tube intended for ointments or creams. So again, don’t know where this company’s mindset landed with that…but maybe look at the consistency before deciding the packaging?

#1 I want to say those who wrote a review about the strong smell…..totally exaggerated, which is not cool because it almost stopped me from buying this product! Based on the other reviews I was expecting a strong, crazy smell that made my eyes water and that is not at all the case. Yes there is a little smell, very little not even strong enough for anyone else to detect unless they have bionic nose!

It's my first time using it. I was expecting like a white cream, but I squeeze it and it's like oil coming out of the tube when I put it on, there was a stink on a burning sensation that right now I'm writing my review on it. Still having gone away. So I don't even know if I like it. Especially the smell is horrible. It smells like burning, rubber

Very strong and powerful. I will buy this again over the Herpcare Spray because it works. Herpcare spray did nothing for me. I was still itching and in pain. This has a stronger smell that can soothe the itching for me.
