The black sponge is for helping in positioning the different accessories for the baby, so they can stay in position and not move around in the vanity case.

Are the dimensions above of the product or the cardboard box the product is in.. I will be using the box for my beauty wax pot.

Can i fit bay bottles underneath as i need something to store for night feeds

Only if you removed the inner compartment or lay the bottles flat. I wouldn’t recommend it for bottles tbh. I used it to store nappies, wipes and toiletries
