A simple, functional upgrade for my AirPods Max. The silicone fits snugly over the ear cups and headband, protecting against scratches and minor dings. It’s flexible enough to remove and clean, but doesn’t slide around in use. The color is vibrant and has stayed true even after weeks of handling. My only small complaint is that it adds a bit of bulk, which means the headphones fit tighter in the carrying case, but the protection trade-off is worth it.

I’ll admit, at first I wasn’t expecting much. I thought to myself: “There’s no way a $12 silicone body cover kit for my Midnight Blue Apple AirPods Pro Max could be aesthetically superior to the Apple’s factory design. I was wrong. I bought the (matte) black cover. I like the Midnight Blue color, but I generally find matte black finishes on products/tech more appealing. After it arrived, I opened the package to find a plastic bag with a bunch of thin, silicone sleeves, along with a small piece of paper that visually displayed simple step-by-step installation instructions, with actual photos of the product used to demonstrate covering your AirPods with the silicone. The instructions were so clear, a baby could do it. Each silicone piece fit each corresponding section of the headphones immaculately. The silicone is ultra, ultra light (and thin). You definitely will NOT ANY additional weight of the silicone when it’s covering your device. For me, the only noticeable change (besides the awesome color refresh) is my AirPod’s texture, which frankly, feels much better than the cheap, messy-feeling factory texture. Not to mention, the silicone cover protects my AirPods from scratches and dings, which is definitely a huge plus in helping minimize damage to my $600 headphone… lmao. Amazing quality, look, feel, and price. I’m very happy with my $12 investment!

This is a great protector! Very comfortable to wear and makes it easy to clean. Super light weight yet very durable. I have had this for about a year and it’s still in great condition. Fits perfectly other than the actual foam ear piece cover does tend to move around a bit when putting my headphones in the case or my bag but otherwise everything stays put. No issues when wearing.

It’s great, not much slipping but still does occasionally, holds up well for the gym if you clean it up after.

If you want these for protection they are just ok for the price. The end result is that your AirPods Max feel like scuba gear and don’t fit the same, they impede the Apple designers intended experience in a big way. I got these primarily to protect my foam ear cups from absorbing sweat. On that note, they are a fail but this is not from design of the product, but rather the materials nature. I found the silicone ear covers while protecting the outer ear pads did nothing to protect the inner ear material and perhaps the greater sin made my ears sweat more. I wouldn’t recommend buying these just get apple care for four months for the same price.

Overall I think this is a quality product. The only complaint is the head piece that goes between the two speakers should be vented with little holes and make os a much thicker silicone, It doesn't stay on and the piece that drops in the middle is should also be vented and may have some self adhesive around the edges as it constantly comes off. However, I took a beat up old pair that my kids used and made them look new again. Well worth the price, and definitely does as advertised.
