Will this send a tone through a speaker so you can test it? How many watts will it power the speaker with?

This will not provide much power, you'd probably want to run the output through a power amp to test a speaker. You could connect the output to a speaker and hear the tones generated, but signal generators are typically intended to be connected to either 50ohm or higher loads, so a typical speaker will overload the output.
