Perfect!!! Moved to a new house with no sign and lost delivery drivers. This was easy to order, loved choosing the font and quick delivery seeing as it is custom made. Would buy as a gift for novelty personalised signs too!!

This is an attractive house no. sign. I love slate, anyway.The printing/engraving looks good and stands out well against the slate. The sign came supplied with screws and plugs for fixing, which was a bonus.In my mind, however, I'm not sure of the longevity of the wording....it doesn't look especially robust, so my intention is to give it a couple of coats of clear varnish, as it will be mounted on an exposed area by a front door.

Delighted with the quality of this product! We moved into a new home and our mail is going astray so when I ordered this I emailed the seller asking for it to be dispatched ASAP and offered to pay more money. Mark replied and said he'd get it sent asap. Got it in the wall and looks well, highly recommended!

Slate a lot thinner than I expected. States engraved, but very shallow, writing appears to be printed on and lettering is very pale. Slate not of best quality, split in a few areas. If I had seen item prior to husband fixing it too the wall, I probably would have sent it back.

Hadn't appreciated that laser engraving is not actually carved into slate but merely surface painted! Text comes off with fingernail! Pay more for a v-carved sign elsewhere. Am throwing this straight into the bin, as it won't stand weathering and looks cheap and nasty. You get what you pay for. ..

First slate that arrived had the wrong number than requested on it. Mistakes are made, we are only human so this I wasn't too bothered about, especially when I received a reply stating a new one would be done and posted straight away. However, this took much longer than expected to arrive, so I wasn't too chuffed at it being almost a month between order and receiving the final right product. Second version was also a lot smaller than the first version which was disappointing but overall quite happy with the final product and it will look good on the house. It does say very clearly about the type of engraving so the reviews complaining its painted on, I feel should be dismissed.

Our sign arrived before the due date and we are extremely pleased with how it looks - should the need ever arise we would most definitely order again from Slateworks and would have no hesitation recommending to friends and family.
