After snorkeling in both the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean using equipment provided by tour operators, I decided it was time to purchase my own gear. Not only is rental equipment used by hundreds of people, but my partner and I travel to the islands and West Coast often and wanted something more comfortable and reliable. After researching various options online, I came across the V3 snorkel mask. We used it in the Caribbean last week, and I can honestly say we absolutely love it. The GoPro attaches easily, the full-face design provides an amazing panoramic view of your surroundings, and best of all, no more salt water leaking into the mask. The check valve works exactly as advertised, making breathing easy and comfortable throughout the entire snorkeling experience. I bought this mask because my traditional mask was dry rot from lack of use. I started researching snorkel masks and this type of full face mask kept popping up. I ended up buying the style with the snorkel on top of the head and this one which has it on the side of the face. I tried them both on and found that this brand had a better fit for my face. However, MANY tourists here in Roatan have the top of the head style. I'm the only one with this style that I've seen. Could be because it's more expensive than the other brands? I definitely prefer this style because I don't feel I look quite as silly as with the other kind. I look like I’m from Halo rather than The Snorks! Anyway, this mask is very comfortable, easy to use, and does the job well. You'll want to get it fitted to your face while both dry AND wet before you jump off the boat or go into deeper water because it's challenging to tread water while trying to fiddle with the straps. I enjoy the quick connect/release feature but don't tend to use it often because once you get it fitted to your face, you can pull it on or off with ease. My hair is short, so I had no problems with my hair getting tangled in any part of the mask, but I don't think it would be an issue even if my hair was longer. I really liked not having anything in my mouth! I was able to talk to myself while underwater, and when you come up out of the water, you can talk to others without having to remove anything. You may have to shout depending on how far you are from others in your group. As with any mask, you want to make sure your face is clean and free from lotions and oils and your hair is clean and free from products or your face will become slippery and the mask will not have a good seal. If water does come in, it will drain around the mouth and go out on its own or when you exhale. It's a very clever design. You also don't have to have the straps very tight. Too tight and you will be uncomfortable very quickly. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase! It has a space to attach a Go Pro or other similar style camera and I plan on doing that next time rather than fumbling with an underwater camera or having something in my hand while I’m trying to swim. Believe me, being able to go hands free is big! **Also, it will not fog up like traditional masks. I did not need to use toothpaste, spit, or keep water in the bottom. I did not need to keep poking my head above water to make adjustments to the mask either. Others in my group were always stopping or resurfacing to make adjustments and I never needed to do that. In fact, the more you come out of the water to tread, the more likely you are to let water in around the mouth seal, which makes it feel very weird and slimy. It’s not uncomfortable nor will the mask fog up, but it’s not pleasant. So, once you go in, stay in and enjoy!

This is a review of the Seaview 180 V3 Full Face Snorkel Mask Adult. This is a quality piece of equipment. I love that you can’t inhale water when wearing this. Even with my facial hair the seal is excellent. And the field of view is excellent as well. It’s not as difficult to disassemble as many reviewers said. It takes some fiddling, but not enough to not own this mask.

Today, I swam my first one mile of pool laps. This mask makes lapping so easy, with no stopping for breaths and very little water seepage. Also very easy to purge what water does make it into the mask. I left the pool, telling someone who asked me about it, that I was so glad I'd purchased it. Although it was more expensive than some out there, I'm thrilled with the performance.

I ordered 3 of these snorkel gear (1 of each size) for a recent trip to Hawaii with my kids. In the past, I’ve had trouble with other snorkel gear because I always have a trimmed beard (length on a scale of 1 to 3 with a standard wahl trimmer) and I don’t shave. My beard grows fast and I didn’t have to trim for an entire week when in Hawaii. This product was amazing and made the snorkeling experience so much more enjoyable for my kids and myself. Even with the beard, I had very little leakage and was able to dive down to check out areas a little closer. You don’t have to worry about removing a mouth piece for a snorkel tube to talk to the person next to you. You just have to raise your voice a bit more when talking to someone next to you. I could literally hear the joy in my daughter’s voice and her describing the colors of the aquatic life along the coral when she was right next to me within a few feet. So cool. Never had the issue of sucking in salt water from a snorkel after you remove it to talk to someone then put it back in before blowing it out. Never had a scenario where I dove down and water started rushing in the side of the gear like I’ve had with other gear before. Never had a situation where salt water came in through the snorkel tube either if I went below the surface for a brief moment. This was extremely nice to not be choking on salt water. The tube is really well designed. The gear is also really easy to adjust for anyone from a commonsense approach. I found them to be super easy to breathe through. If there was ever any slight leakage all you have to do is raise your head out of the water and the water drains right out the bottom on mask. No need to remove gear whatsoever. There was a person in our group who had a similar version made by a different manufacturer and they did have a more difficult time breathing. They tried mine and liked it so much better. The only knock I would have to say would be that if you have kids who use the gear close to the shore where the waves break, sand will get in around the edges of the seal. Fortunately, I was able to get all the sand removed after returning home with a garden hose. For all three masks, it took about 15min total to get all the sand removed. My kids and I absolutely loved them and so did others who used them as well. I didn’t see anyone else with the same gear when in Hawaii. I thought I would see more people with them based on the product description and how it works. I would recommend anyone to try this product out for yourself for a great snorkeling experience. Worked great! All my friends want one now. Suction is great on bare skin. Shave your face if you have a beard. Great value for the money. Measure your face as the size chart is spot on. The back straps are adjustable. Great field of view. I loved swimming with this. No water got in my mouth or my nose.

SOO much better than a normal snorkel/mask. Easier to breathe and can see so much clearer. Seems like the plastic is quite rigid so probably is not the most durable . Highly recommended for snorkeling trips as long as you're not too rough with it.

A great mask. I’ve grown up snorkeling so I prefer a regular mask style (because you can dive with them) however my wife is new to it and had a lot of issues being comfortable not being able to breathe out of her nose . With this mask she can breath normally. I will also say this mask looks much less goofy since the snorkel is on the side not weirdly In the center. No issues with co2 buildup that’s some tik tok hype btw ( any snorkel can and will cause a safe amount of increased co2 intake and it’s not an issue as long as when you dive down you take the snorkel out your mouth so when you take your first breath after holding it for a long time you breath air and not recycled air ) all that to say don’t let supposed co2 buildup keep you from buying one of these . We also had no issues with fogging which actually amazed me as I did not apply a defogger or spit on the screen (yes that’s highly affective) I believe this is because the lens is further away from your face and doesn’t have a major temperature difference that would cause fogging. Fits very well and does not leak. I disagree with the other reviews that say the snorkel is hard to get on and off it’s easy and comes with a carrying case for transport. Great value for the price highly recommend for anyone who isn’t comfortable in the water or even if you are comfortable but you don’t want to dive down while snorkeling this is great as it will fog less and provide more visibility than a regular mask

For the first time I put on my face, I heard cracking sounds. Checking the mask noticed that it gets broken at location of the linking screw which connects the mask parts together. I reached out the customer service and they didn’t provide any support and rejected to give replacement or even maintenance. I’ve returned back to Amazon. It’s worth to mention that I’ve selected the correct size which fits my face.

I have had 3 different masks like, this 2 broke, 1 was stolen. This mask functions in every way significantly better than the others I had. Absolutely no fogging, no leaking, and best air flow. Yes this was 50% more money but it is well worth the extra cost. Besides comparing nominal price doesn’t account for the significant cost of inflation since my first purchase. If you are wondering if you should buy the cheaper versions, don’t do it, this is the best value purchase in my opinion. Excellent product.

I have wasted a fortune on snorkelling masks . The only real success in terms of non fogging , non leaking masks was a previous model of this full face mask. The old mask was hard breathing work but this mask is vastly improved and highly recommended.
