I love my Caraway steamer! It is very heavy duty and well made with high quality stainless steel. It is the perfect size for 2-4 servings of veggies. It has holes not only in the bottom, but the sides as well. This helps the vegetables steam evenly. Nothing sticks to the ceramic. It turned orange when I steamed carrots, but easily washed out with soap and water and with almost no effort. I’m happy with my first Caraway purchase!

I consider this one of the best kitchen items I've ever purchased. I steam veggies all the time, and have been frustrated with all the "lotus style" stainless steel ones I've used for decades. Those always break, and are very awkward to use and remove from the pot - and veggies always fall into the water. This Caraway steamer fits perfectly on top of my 8 quart Caphalon stainless steel stock pot with the lid on top. Steaming is a breeze. It lifts out easily to allow me to pour out the remaining water. Super easy to clean. And best of all, it's non-toxic. I thought it was a bit pricey at first, but it's well worth it. Very happy I made this investment. No more cursing!

This is a high quality steamer. I love using it for making my breakfast. Please note to keep the lower the heat once water boiled, since you have only one inch of water in the matching pot, don’t overheat.
