I'm 5'11 and size 10/12. I like a tighter fit so was thinking small but 1 lady size 12/14 ordered med and its too small

I am 5'6" and size 12 but 36" bust - the Medium is perfect fit. If you are slim 10/12 then the S is probably best if you prefer a tighter fit in my opinion. These are great vest tops!

It might be too long for you then. You can push them up a bit so it’s a casual gathered look at the waist though. That’d probably be ok. I’m 5’7’’ and absolutely love the longer length in the body. I’ve bought 4 of them already. Too often things are short on me, or ride up too easily. I can’t give you an actual specific length as I’m at work, but I’ll try to post another answer.
