Worth buying. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap e-bike. It's a good value for the price. I sold an old bike I got for free for more than I paid for this e-bike. If you want something that works for light use at a cheap price, this is good. If you want something for heavy or daily use with top quality components, then obviously you're going to have to pay 3 or 4 times as much, at least. Cons: The components are fairly cheap. Every part is an inexpensive model. Which, for the price, you should expect. You could pay this much for a regular non-e-bike and it would still be a budget bike with low end components. The front fork has been changed from earlier models often listed, it's not lockable or adjustable anymore, and it is very flimsy, waiting for it to snap off at some point. You can twist it easily. I expect this may be the first thing to go. So far everything is staying together. The tires are soft and wear quickly, so the rear will likely need to be replaced within a year or so of moderate riding. (front tires get much less wear on bicycles so it should last longer) Pros: Price. This is a great deal for what you get. The bike works. It looks nice. It gets you where you want to go. It's fun to ride. I get about 18-20 miles on a full battery. That's at full speed, not much pedaling. I'm fairly certain if you used level 1 with a lot of pedaling you could double that. That's plenty, and impressive for this inexpensive bike. Adjust everything well, and keep in mind this is a light duty bike and you should be happy. IMPORTANT: Like ANY other bike, you can't just take this out of the box and ride it. When you assemble it, you must properly inflate the tires. Properly and carefully install the pedals. Properly adjust the brakes. Inspect and adjust the shifters... properly inspect and adjust everything. This is the same with any bike. Research and watch some videos to learn how to do it right, or take it to a professional. If you try to ride a bike which was poorly assembled, or is not properly tuned and adjusted, you're going to have a bad time, that's not the bike's fault. A properly adjusted bike will last longer and be more fun to ride. Don't just throw it together and then be upset that it rides like a bike you just threw together, or breaks too soon. Most of the bad experiences I see people having would've been avoided by learning how to adjust and maintain any bicycle. I've added a suspension seat post for a smoother ride, an adjustable gooseneck to raise the handlebars because I'm 6'2 and the bike would be too small otherwise (it's still probably a bit small for my size), fenders for riding in wet conditions, a frame bag for tools and first aid kit, and a cargo rack just in case I need to carry anything. Problems: I had an issue with a part arriving damaged. Customer support addressed the issue and sent a replacement. It took a while, but they made it right. I'm satisfied and recommend this product.

I’ve been really happy with this Jasion e-bike. It was easy to put together, the battery lasts a long time, and it has plenty of power for riding around town. The ride is comfortable, and the suspension helps on bumps. The brakes work well, and the different pedal assist levels make it easy to choose how much help you want. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable electric bike.

In terms of what I was looking for, it was exactly what I wanted, it’s quick, easy to use and has a reasonable amount of range for my daily commute. I think the value for what you are getting is a solid bet, I purchased this with a sale going and paid $340, which to me is a fair price. It gets four stars for me because the seat, while functional, is super uncomfortable and for a daily commuter you’ll probably want to upgrade to a different seat - I simply took the seat off my other bike and switched the bolts out to make it look clean for the assembly. Super easy to assemble out of the box, came with a full charge, also mine came over a week early for delivery - so that was awesome too. I’ve been riding the bike over the last week, outside of the seat being uncomfortable, the handle bars seem to sit a little low for me - I am 5’11, so if you’re near that height I’d look into an adapter so you can have your handle bars ride a bit more comfortably for your height. After riding around town (at full throttle) for a little over 4 miles, my charge was at the halfway point - I’m at 190 lbs, impressed me in terms of its ability to haul me around, going up the steep hills in my area has also became significantly easier with this bike. Another thing of note is the battery indicator, as it goes past half battery the indicator will read various charge levels, jumping from one bar and sometimes back up to half charge. So far it hasn’t been an issue, I’d like to have the option to purchase another battery but haven’t seen any options for this specific bike - thought that was strange, there is probably an after market option out there. Outside of these specific things, the bike rides and handles really well, again I think the value of what you’re getting is solid, you can modify the bike as you go if you wanted to improve upon it, definitely have a bike seat in your shopping list if you buy this - solid bike!

Bought this bike march 28th when we pulled it out of the packaging (which was top notch), and looked at it, it looks sharp; it cost $150 to ship and deliver (even with prime) bike was delivered the 4th, we put it together April 8th (my son's 17th bday, this was his gift), got the bike all put together. Instructions could have been more detailed. Attempted to turn on battery and bike, and absolutely nothing, like the battery was beyond dead, recent reviews on youtube (within 4 months) have said the battery comes between 30 and 70% charged, not the case for us. So we charged the battery for over 6 hours, tried it again and absolutely nothing. Reached out to jasion customer service and they said I had to reach out to Amazon so I did, it has been over 2 days and no response yet from the seller. The manufacturer, however reached out to me within 24 hours of this issue, however it did not resolve the issue as of yet, because the bike at the moment is just a regular bike, because the battery isn't working. I'll update if and when the seller on Amazon responds, so we will see. It is extremely disappointing, because this is literally the only thing my son asked for, and it doesn't work. I am really hoping the seller will make this right. At this point I have only had the bike for 6 days. Amazon please make this right. 04/19/2024 *update* I do NOT recommend this bike. Yes it looks nice, but looks can be deceiving. First and foremost, Amazon your customer service is top notch. I appreciate everything you did to fix this, thank you from the bottom of my heart for rectifying the situation. I will always recommend Amazon for mine and others purchasing needs. Jasion customer service was mediocre, I feel like they didn't listen to what the problem was, they kept asking the same thing after I explained in detail, I might add, what was happening; jasion said they couldnt help, i even asked if jasion could just send a replacement battery, and i was told by jasion that because i ordered it on amazon, that i had to go through amazon, they didnt even offer to send a new battery or rectify the situation at all, don't get me wrong they apologized for the stress of the situation, but that's it; So no I don't recommend jasion bikes, don't waste your money. Amazon thank you. Amazon issued me a refund, even though it wasnt their fault the battery/bike was defective. Truly exceptional service and thank you for listening, this is what customer service should be you guys rock! Jasion certainly needs to do better. Jasion manufactured this bike and battery but will not stand by their product? I understand that this is supposed to be a "affordable " ebike, but it is still alot of money; and the "affordabilty" is no excuse for using poor quality components in something as important in an ebike as the battery. I have never had issues with any other manufacturer on any other product that I have purchased, the manufacturers have always stood by their products, just not jasion i guess. I would recommend going through a different manufacturer of ebikes. There are several and I'm sure others will stand by their product even if it is defective. Sorry jaison, please do better. I was hoping I could give a better review, but I can't in good conscience do that. All I can say about it is if you decide to make your own decision and purchase a bike from jasion, just consider it a roll of the dice. Hopefully you have a better experience with jasion.

Unboxing and assembling took me about 15 minutes - came 75% charged. It comes with the rear wheel attached, just have to lock the front wheel on, replace a protective cover on the steering shaft with the handlebars - pop the seat on and you’re ready to ride. All the wiring is hooked up other than the front light which is a simple connector. My front brake disc seems just warped enough to rub a bit. I will try to correct this myself if it becomes problematic. I’m just thankful to not be flat on my face anytime I have to use the front brakes anyway. I am 175lbs and wear a backpack when I ride. My test ride was about 4 miles where it went from 75% to %14, and I was admittedly torture testing it a bit. Riding with just the throttle , or taking off from stopped with the throttle, uses a noticeable amount of battery. I kept it usually around level 3 out of 5 pedal assist modes for the trip. I live in a very hilly area so half the trip was uphill essentially. I am not sure exactly how the gear ratio affects the battery, but I kept it in the top few gears for the trip, and the whole ride barely felt like a light workout with PAS. The horn is nice, but I did not get a single person to move, one of their dogs heard me at least. But, everyone has air pods in these days. One of these instances they saw me coming , but didn’t move, so I had to drop off a curb, which knocked the tail light off. I’ll reattach it with zip ties, instead of stretchy rubber strap. The cable that comes with the rear light, is not even half as long as needed to reach the port on the battery. I have a long one lying around easily, but it was something I noticed. The included rear light seems to be from a separate manufacturer so I am not really upset. The main thing I wanted out of this bike was to make my commute easier, living in an area where if I can coast downhill for miles , I have to essentially walk a normal bike back home, from how steep uphill it is on the way back. However, this bike made the hills barely noticeable. Very happy with the purchase and I will update this review with further experience and insight on the battery life and range. If I used about 60% of the battery with leisure use in my conditions, and went 4 miles, I would guess a more realistic full trip in my conditions would yield 7 or 8 mile range tops. Again, I will have a better idea with more trips that start with a fully charged battery. Edit: I made 2 trips to a place 11 miles away starting with a %100 charge, and in similar conditions as my first ride, the battery got down to about 30%, but again, that same percentage might show 40-45 once the bike is stopped. I would say in my hilly conditions a full charge would get you 15-16 miles, maybe a bit more, especially if you ride in a way conscious of the battery life. I messaged the manufacturer to ask if they would sell a spare battery and they said they wouldn’t have spares for another few months. Very happy with my purchase, well worth the money Edit: I've had this thing nearly 2 months now and thought this review deserves an update. For the first review, my legs were weak. But, I have been taking the EB5 to commute to and from work every day - 22 -25 miles/day. So, with that exercise, my legs and stamina have gotten stronger. Now, my legs put so much power to the ground that PAS doesn't even kick in until set to level 3 or 4. After my 11 mile commute - and being conscious of when to tax the battery and when to just get a bit of pedaling in - I can get to work or back home with over 65% of my battery left, even with a rack and loaded basket. Given that, it could be assumed that in the same conditions, since 11 miles used about 33%, one could comfortably go 33-35 miles before the battery dies. Some tips: Don't keep your bike in gears 6 or 7 just because the motor is helping you. Keep the bike in whatever gear you would normally pedal in - turn PAS to 0 and find that gear - where your legs arent spinning freely but also not needing too much force - and then work your way from PAS 0 to whatever mode you feel it kick in. Then, once you are at a healthy cadence for whatever conditions you're in - imo 12-17 MPH - turn down again to PAS 0, and now the pedaling is super easy as keeping a cadence is much easier than pushing yourself from a stop to a high cadence. Maybe kick PAS back into 1 to allow yourself to manually use the throttle to get back into a cadence, and then down to PAS 0 when your legs can help again. This way, you are getting some cardio, you are engaged and aware, and maximizing the life of your battery and actually the motor as well - and when you are close enough to your destination, you'll have so much percentage left that you can comfortably give your legs a break and rely more on the throttle. I had been asking the company if they offer spare batteries - they said not until March - they offered to give me a discount on their new bike if I reviewed it - however not an actual discount, but instead, a partial refund, meaning I cannot afford the initial cost of the new EB7 - and through this conversation they maintain that they do not yet sell spares for the EB5, despite it being halfway through March. Some complaints: The screw for the handlebar adjustment comes loose once or twice per ride - it's a quick fix but very annoying, the handlebars become wobbly. The screw for the rear brake adjustment comes loose as well - again, a quick fix, but dangerous, and some people who don't know might go over-adjusting the brakes at the handlebar level, or deciding their brakes need replacement, without realizing that the screw actually just comes loose. You cannot remove the rear tire completely. There is a motor cable running into it, which has a point where it seems it should disconnect, but does not actually disconnect, Im sure if you brute forced it you could jerry rig it back together easily but it does not comfortably break away for maintenance on the rear tire. Changing tubes and tires is a bit of a hassle because of this. There are not enough holes for attaching accessories. There is an unused screw hole on either side of the rear forks, and again unused holes on either side of the seatpost hole - for attaching a rack. However, that is it. no other holes. No indicator as to what kind of screw or thread goes into these holes either. The connector for the battery is nearly proprietary. I found out it can be found online by searching for "REENTION OUTPUT CONNECTOR" - Reention being the company who makes the cases for the battery used by this bike. It's just a + and - prong but I would have loved, loved, loved to see instead an XT60 or XT90 connector capability. Now, to add my own spare battery, I have to rig up a connector and find a place to strap the default battery since its mount would block access to the battery port. I dont like when companies make DIY harder, that's all. The rainwater and road dirt in my face and eyes got old pretty quick, so I did add an aftermarket fender. You can't use a regular fender in the front as the headlight blocks where it would normally go, and again, there's no holes for accessories to have any other place to move it to. But you can use the flexible fenders which attach with zip ties, if you are crafty enough to avoid it rubbing on the tire. I don't know if this company is just a couple of dudes in an office in China with a couple workers putting together the bikes out of the different parts coming from all kinds of different companies ("Jasion" really just seems to be the frame) but given it does seem to be a quality product and sold as described, I am happy with their efforts and the bike. Otherwise, all in all, I'm happy with my purchase. I am getting exercise, I feel great, I haven't been ran over yet,

I recently purchased this bike, and I can say I absolutely love it. I'll start off with the assembly. It took me about 30 minutes to unbox it and get it assembled. The front wheel was the most challenging, as I could have used an extra hand, but I was able to align and secure it with a little patience. From the first time I started riding it, I could tell it was going to be the perfect bike for me. I live in a community where the roads are nice and flat, and I don't even need the pedal assistance, but it's a nice feature to have if I ever decide to take the bike to a riding trail with some hills and rough terrain. I did add some accessories to the bike including a left side mirror, a water bottle holder, a cell phone holder, and an anti-theft tracking device. All of the accessories fit nicely on the bike. There were a few disappointments with the bike that I will share. Some of the reviews indicated that there was a tail light that could be charged. The bike I received only has a rear reflector behind the seat. Also, I thought that the battery came with a USB port for a cell phone charger, but it does not. Also, I thought the bike had a lockout mechanism for the front suspension, but it did not come with the bike I received. Those are my only issues so far, but even with that said, I am still giving this bike a 5-star rating. This bike is well worth the price, and I'm sure it will last for many years.

I've had this bike since July 2024, so over a year, and have put over 1,500 miles on it so far. For people who simply do light commutes or for quick grocery/gym runs in the city or suburbs this bike should be good enough as long as you don't get unlucky with a defective bike. However, for people like me who frequently ride for long bike rides (10-20 miles) in sometimes rough trails you will definitely need to learn some bike maintenance to fix issues that will happen with the cheaper build of this bike. Though if you can learn how to maintain the bike when issues occur it can still be a viable use for a while. I was even able to take it on a 50 mile ride with a friend all the way from Milwaukee, WI to the Illinois border at Winthrop Harbor, IL on a single charge though I did ride on PAS mostly around the 0-1 range with some 2 on hills so I mostly relied on only a bit of assistance rather than full throttle or complete assistance like my friend had used on his bike (needing a second battery). One oddity with this e-bike that I had noticed compared to other e-bikes I have tried is that the throttle speed is based on the PAS level and not just the highest 20 mph speed of the bike. So I had to constantly push up the PAS to 3-4 when I was trying to quickly cross roads as PAS 1 only seems to throttle at ~8 mph. Another oddity was how the assist was a burst of movement which took a little getting used to compared to my friend's e-bike I had tested beforehand. The first issue I ran into with the bike was around a month after buying it in late August 2024. The rear tire had unfortunately somehow gotten a puncture and flattened so I had to walk the bike back home and buy the tools and a new inner tube to fix it along with a new, better tread (since the base one isn't the best). Unfortunately, the disc brakes and the gear shifter (derailleur) weren't aligned very well so when I first placed the rear wheel back on the bike the disc scrapped on the rear pads and the highest gear made strange clicking noises. After adjusting the wheel for a while I did get the rear brakes to eventually stop scraping though they were very loose (though considerably loose to begin with anyways) though I was able to still use it while mostly relying on the front brakes and the second highest gear. The second issue I ran into was shortly after my bike ride to Illinois (50 + 50 miles to and from) in October 2024 was that the pedal assist (cadence sensors) just would randomly stop working then other times work again randomly. So I had to manually apply assistance with the throttle when needed when it wouldn't work for some reason. At times this was kind of an annoyance though at times it was useful for an on-demand only use to better conserve battery. Most e-bikes (including this one) by design only allow use of the throttle when PAS is NOT at 0 and having an on demand throttle working at 0 PAS would be nice. The third issue I ran into which unfortunately also caused my second flat tire was the weak spokes breaking off over time. When the first one had broken off the main hub and was just swaying around I hadn't really thought of anything as it didn't cause any issues at first though eventually in April of this year that same broken spoke somehow managed to push itself into the inner tube and pop it so badly that not even my slime innertube replacement could stop the air leak. So, once again I had to pull off the rear tire but this time I just simply pulled out the spoke fully before replacing the inner tube with another one to fix it. Had the same issues with the scraping rear disc brakes that I had to adjust to get it just right again. Unfortunately this time the gear shifter (derailleur) somehow had gotten so misaligned that putting the bike in the highest gear knocked the chain into the hub so I had just continued using the second highest gear or lower. The fourth issue I had ran into was when more and more of the rear wheel spokes broke off over time until the wheel became unsafe and wobbly to the point it would occasionally bump into the frame a bit. So I had to, once again, pull off the rear tire and replace the broken spokes with new ones I had ordered online (it seems to use 210mm spokes for those needing replacements) and had to buy a spoke wrench tool kit to tighten the spokes. I then had to true the wheel by placing the rear wheel back on the bike while the bike was upside down to spin the wheel and tightened the spoke on the opposite side of the wobble whenever it wobbled too far off center. Shortly after the fourth issue I had bought a more expensive e-bike to replace this one for more reliability and range with a bigger battery though had kept it as a backup or used for friends staying over fThe fifth issue happened when a friend was staying over for three months starting in August this year and we went on bike rides together. At first when the battery was at a lower level putting the bike higher than PAS 1 would cause the bike to just shut down completely. Later whenever he rode on rough terrain or slightly steeper road hills with the bike the power would falter chasing the light and screen to flicker until it shut down. So I think the battery might be starting to fail. Unfortunately, they not only seem to pretend this bike doesn't exist on their company website (for some reason) but also don't seem to sell the battery for it on there either. I tried contacting support about this and they wanted me to check the voltage of it with a multimeter, of which I don't own (yet).... Though I wonder if it would even be worth it to buy a new battery for it considering how cheap a new bike is anyways and how the bike itself is kind of not in the best condition to be worth it to buy a replacement for even if I can get a Jaison one. There are similar looking batteries online though I am not sure how reliable or safe they are, or if they are even compatible. Regardless, I still enjoyed the learning experience of bicycle maintenance and it still can run on a lower PAS for a lower distance. I think that most people who only lightly ride the bike could mitigate most of the issues I had which were likely caused by wear and tear of the cheaper parts.

I bought this bike in October to save money on Ubering to work. With over 400 miles on this bike, here's my experience: Assembly Simple enough, read the instructions and follow them step by step. Battery I commute 5 miles each way, with a couple of big hills along my route. The battery will get me at least 2 round trips (20 miles) on a single charge (with charge to spare) and I barely break a sweat. The charger gets surprisingly hot, place it accordingly. It takes several hours to recharge, I usually do it overnight. Removing the battery can be tricky, as it's quite heavy and situated in a place that's easy to get your fingers pinched. There's a sticker on the inside of the battery compartment that will indicate if the battery has gotten wet. If the battery dies, yes the bike can still be rode normally (although it is heavier than a normal bike). No it doesn't recharge as you pedal. Speed In the highest gear, the bike will easily get up to 20 mph on level ground. Even faster downhill. The amount of torque can be dangerous if you're using the throttle from a stand still in a high gear. Using the throttle on a low gear can help get through intersections/crosswalks quickly though. Out of the box the bike has three pedal-assist gears, but I went into the settings to spread it out into 5 to better suit my route and needs. Read the manual for more details. The mechanical gear shift is a 7-speed Shimano with a thumb shifter - very comfortable and easy to use but not used if you're going over 20mph. Just sit and enjoy the ride. Comfort The seat is as comfortable as a bike seat can be. Easily adjustable even for me (6'1"). The grips are ergonomic and comfortable, but you'll have to cut a hole to add a bar mounted mirror (I highly recommend). I also added electrical tape to the brake handles for a more confident grip. Display The mounted screen is in the way if you turn the bike over (e.g to change a tire). The screen itself is protected but be prepared to see some scratches on the frame around it. I wish the display had a clock or altimeter, however, the battery level, adjustable brightness, odometer, speedometer, and current gear displays are sufficient. The trip odometer is a nice feature, but you have to enable the ability to reset it each time you reinstall the battery after charging. Miscellaneous The tail light failed after about two weeks, so it's a good thing I also bought a backup from another seller. My manual didn't come with the second half, (it was the first half printed twice) but it was easy enough to find the full manual for free online. There is no place to mount a water bottle holder on the frame. I wear a Camelbak-style backpack for hydrating on the go. The headlamp is easily adjustable for the proper angle, and the horn is loud enough with a unique pitch to get people's attention when needed (even city road workers using loud equipment). I removed the kickstand because I lean my bike against whatever I'm locking it to and I don't need the extra weight. --- As always, make sure you can see and be seen as much as possible for a safe ride. I leave the headlamp on at all times, added reflective pinstriping to the frame, and installed an adjustable bar-mounted side mirror on the passing (left) side. There's mixed reviews about whether e-bikes can handle wet conditions but to be safe I avoid riding or leaving it in the rain (get a bike cover). Overall this is a wonderful e-bike for an affordable price. It's truly a pleasure to ride.

Very good and sturdy e-bike, I was suspicious about it but I couldn't be more wrong, it rides very smooth and it has a good top speed. Very recommended.

Just picked up two Jasion e-bikes with 500 W motors a month ago. The delivery was super quick, and they were packed really well. There was a tiny crack in one of the red reflectors, but I just glued it up. Putting them together was a breeze with the instructions, however, it takes little time. Honestly, these bikes are a great price! We’re having a blast riding them; you can still pedal normally and get a solid workout. Just a heads up, once you try the assist, you’ll totally get hooked on the speed! I also grabbed some extras like fenders, a swivel water cup holder, premium chain oil, and fireproof storage bags for the batteries, all at great prices too!

Comfortable and Durability, I use it to commute to work. Takes less time than driving. Will be buying another one for a family member

I've only had the bike a couple of weeks, but so far everything seems to work exactly as expected. Initially, I had a problem with the chain skipping in 7th gear. I tried all the derailleur adjustments suggested on YouTube but wasn't having any luck. Jasion's customer service is very good. They had multiple suggestions, and when these didn't work out they suggested I take it to a bike shop and they'd pay for the repair. It turned out the bike shop recognized the problem right away and the repair was so easy they didn't want any money for it. I can't say anything about the bike's durability, but so far the it performs very well. Fun!
