I didn’t think it did much. However, after sitting on our bar stool without it I felt a difference. I moved it to the recliner in the motorhome that is worn out and it’s doing great. Buying me some time until we get back from vacation to replace the recliner. It’s very comfortable and reduces my back and but pain. It does raise you up a bit which makes the arm rest lower. It works.

I got the mini sized one for one of my 3.5 year old's car seat booster combo which is hard plastic with a thin cover that offers minimal padding. It fits perfectly under the car seat cover and is going to be so comfy for her. It won't slide around on the plastic, it has good grip beads on the bottom. I'm buying another mini for my second car that has a booster in it also. I wouldnt want to sit on that hard plastic, so this is perfect for my child's car seat! I'd highly recommend buying the mini for a toddlers booster seat, most of them are not comfortable due to the hard plastic and thin covers.

Because it's gel padding with open gaps on both sides, and with a thin fabric to keep it in place & somewhat covered, you do have to be mindful of sitting on it if you're heavy. It will leave imprints in your skin if you've got fatty thighs. But the good thing about it is the cushion, doubled up, does offer plenty of intact padding to settle on. It will soften up and squish after a few days of use. And you can debate if you want both pads under yourself, or if you want to use one to sit on & one to lean back against. I'm around 260 lbs, and I am glad for the extra padding. But if anyone is heavier than that, you may need to find a firmer cushion. Or this will flatten quickly on you.

Helps if sitting a long time. I put it in my car because car seat is hard. I like the thickness of it. I think it boosts me up 2” which is good. I may order another one for myself chair at home as I have sciatica.

The cushion seems to be OK. It’s not really “gel“, but I can see where they might say that. It’s more of a soft rubbery honeycomb cushion. My biggest problem with this cushion is that it stinks! It smells toxic, so I’m going to wash the cover and put the honeycomb inside outside to see if the smell dissipates. If not, I plan to return it because I will not be able to use it while it smells this bad.

I had one of the foam cushions and while it felt good it quickly compressed and was not softer than the chair. This one does not to that. It offers a softer seat.

I have to get more of these. I want one for my car. I want to buy some of these for my sisters. I keep one on my desk chair. I am never uncomfortable on this. I even think I'll put one under my behind when I'm sleeping. I had another kind of traditional cushion on my desk chair but I still feel the hardness of the chair under it. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This seat cushion is not comfortable. Your butt still hurts sitting in the chair and your legs in the front. The hangover hurt too.

I lost a lot of weight, fat and muscle mostly, and my "sit bones" would ache after just a few minutes on a hard seat and about 30 minutes in the car seat. I tried others but they were too high (lifing me up by 50-70mm) or too small (uncomfortably felt the edges of the cushion under my thighs). This seemed just right ... it is large enough to cover the entire car seat and comfy chair, and thin enough not to lift me up to the car roof or leave my feet danglling in mid air. It is not light ... but reasonable... and certainly comfortable for me. Recommended for folk with "sit bone" aches. RTC
