They were a little iffy but have since gotten used to it. The cat is still trying to figure out if it's safe. Will update when he comes to a conclusion. The door was easy to install but only came with enough screws for one side. I contacted the seller and they responded quickly and sent out the rest of the screws. It seems sturdy with two pitbulls running through it at full speed when they need to go. I guess we'll see about durability as it gets used. Update 8/9/19: The cat has deemed it safe for exiting only. He refuses to use it for coming back in. It's still holding up with the constant going in and out of the dogs and going out of the cat. The door still swings perfectly and the magnets still keep it closed so the frogs don't come in. I'll update again of the cat ever deems it safe for re-entry. Update 2/19/2020: Well, the cat never deemed it safe for re-entry but the dogs still love it. It has held up perfectly and it opens and closes like it's new. One of the dogs did manage to take the flap off once but I'm pretty sure it caught on her collar and went out with her. It hasn't happened since so I'm pretty sure it was a fluke occurence. Overall it's a nice door that works on screens that's easy to install to give the dogs a little more freedom and prevents the frog invasions in the pool.

Have purchased this door before. Takes 2 people to install. Directions not explicit but knew what to do from previous installation of a door.

Awesome doggie door! This door is great and was easy to install and looks great on our screen porch. We installed the door directly onto the floor to ceiling screen (not onto the screen door) and it’s very stable. Our new rescue dog learned to use the door very quickly! The magnets at the bottom line up the door with the frame to prevent unwanted motion! There’s locks on the door if you don’t want it to be opened! We first had the small size that our cat used. Sadly our cat passed and now we have a new dog and had to get the larger size door which we installed right where the first one was located. Definitely recommend this door!!

Easy installation, works great!

Fantastic purchase! I was super-skeptical about how well this would work when installed directly on a screen, but it is exceptional! Takes two people to install, and is very straightforward. Our two pups took to it pretty quickly and we are so happy with this purchase.

I love this for my fur baby. I had a screen repair install a couple of these for me about four to five years ago. I love them as I can keep my screens open and not have to let my dogs out every time they want to go out. The only issue I have to say is avoid direct sunlight as they will warp over time. The one I have located under my covered patio is still fine, but the one I have leading outside my deck warped, so since I found them on my own here, I was able to replace myself and avoid paying extra to have the screen repair come back.

Exactly as others stated in their reviews. The door is great and sturdy. But when you get it, throw out the packages of screws and nuts. I didn't even attempt to use them. They looked cheap and weren't long enough. Tip 1: Go down to Home Depot and purchase 3/4 inch #32 Stainless Machine Screws, washers (enough for two for each screw (one for head side and one for nut side), and nuts. Then use a 1/8 drill bit and re-drill the holes--this part should only take about 2 minutes. Then I attached the two sides as directed towards the bottom of the screen door, towards one side. Not all the way at the bottom or side--about 3-4 inches off of the side and bottom. Then use the hardware just purchased-- screw, two washers (one on each side), and the nut. Best to have two people, so that one person can use the screwdriver and the other can use pliers to hold the nut in place. Get it tight. Use every hole--interestingly enough, the screws provided would have resulted in not having each hole used. The tighter, the better it works. Second tip: Use a level. If not, the door likely won't seat and move properly. Third tip: After screwing together both sides of the frame and before putting the door in place, I used a razor blade knife to cut out the screen from the installed pet door. Then use a crafters X-acto knife to get the corners perfect and remove the screen material right up to the interior edges of the pet door. If you don't remove all the screen material, the door won't swing properly, and will get hung-up as the door tries to swing back to normal. I installed this on a patio screen door with the thicker pet resistant screening (also purchased from Amazon). If the manufacturer would just spend an extra dollar on better screw hardware, I would have given this 5 stars. That simple.
