CHUMXINY Brake Bleed Kit for SHIMANO, TEKTRO Hydraulic Disc Brakes

Just got it today, it already payed itself, easy to use kind of intuitive if ask me. Used for my shimano sti levels and was super easy, instructions are few but enough to be helpful, on my case YouTube was my best friend. The kit brings plenty of adapters for different brands and styles, please be sure of removing all the old oil, mixing different kind or type of oils is no bueno. Neither me or my friend knew or did this before but was easy, the difference on the brake performance and the feel of it is night and day. I'm pretty sure you might find something better or at better price, but on my opinion this kit worth every penny and more, is a definitely a must in my list.

Worked great except there wasn't a funnel connection for Nutt (brand hydraulic brake lever) I did have a syringe adapter that worked so I just used that with a small piece of tubing and connected the funnel. Personally I would rather use that funnel than 2nd string at the lever. Worked great otherwise.

It is easy to use, if you aren't an idiot. Not me though, it was actually not that hard to bleed them. I used the lever method where you repeatedly pump the lever to squeeze the bubbles out, and then used the reverse bleed method to get rid of any potential bubbles. I saw a whole crap ton of it, and my brakes then felt WAY better. Although, the adapter for the lever-to-funnel had an O-ring that was too small and caused the oil to leak when pumping, but I decided to use the O-ring from the oil screw itself. That fixed the issue. The funnel is also transparent which is not as described in the images, but it is an advantage.

This brake bleed kit worked well for getting my hydraulic brakes cleaned up and feeling right again. I liked that it came with the adapters and mineral oil I needed, so I was not hunting around for extra pieces halfway through the job. The parts fit well for my setup, the tubing and fittings were easy to work with, and the kit made the process a lot less intimidating. It is versatile enough to keep around for future maintenance, and everything has held up fine after use. Good value for a home bike repair kit.

I used it and love it

The two vials of mineral oil come shrink wrapped. Large selection of adapters. It even comes with the torx wrench that fits my zoom brakes.

Made servicing my son’s E-bike brakes quick and hassle-free, minus user errors! Lol. Everything I needed was included, and the clear tubing made it easy to see when all the air/air bubbles were out of the system. The tubing parts fit securely without leaking, making the process much cleaner than I expected, especially since I did it inside the house! Easy instruction’s to follow, my son and I had both brakes bled in no time. It’s a great value for anyone who does their own maintenance, whether you’re a beginner or experienced.

If this helps anyone, this didn't work properly with a Lectric XPeak 2.0 bike. While it did come with the right adapters, they didn't fit properly as the threading isn't deep enough. I had to do the brake bleed using only one adaptor, "bottoms up", and had a mess of oil coming out the lever side.

Cheap and comes with all the pieces you need. Firstly, it comes with all bet bits you need to bleed the braked on Shimano Ultegra R8000 Road Brakes. You do not need to buy the Shimano adaptor. I will share an idiots guide below in case anyone needs it. 1) Slide the brass retainer over the clear tube and push the end over the syringe. The brass ring is to hold it tight. 2) Remove the wheel, retaining pin and screw to remove the brake pads. 3) Fit the yellow brake pad in the void and re-apply the retaining screw (If the yellow block won’t fit, use something to push the pistons back then apply again). 4) Slide the tube clamp over the tube 5) Attach the hose and syringe to the bleed valve, using the 7mm spanner (included), open the bleed valve, literally 1/2 a turn. 6) Close the tube clamp and go to the lever. 7) Peel the hood back, expose the screw. 8) Using a 2mm Allen key, remove the screw and keep safe. 9) Find the yellow adaptor to fit the hole, try the larger ones first. 10) Attach the yellow funnel and 1/2 fill with oil. 11) Release the tube clamp and draw the fluid back into the syringe until there are no bubbles (you will see the fluid being drawn out of the funnel) 12) Close the bleed valve on the calliper then pump the brake lever a few times, you may see some bubbles, but until it feels firm. (Took me about 6 pumps then it was solid) 13) Push the plunger into the funnel to stop oil leaking out when you remove the assembly. 14) Carefully unscrew the yellow Cullen and adaptor, when removed re-apply the brake lever screw and tighten. 15) Clean the area of oil, isopropyl alcohol works well, or just wipe with a tissue and put the hood back. 16) Clamp the hose at the syringe, carefully remove and immediately wipe the area clean. 15) Re-assemble the brake pads and wheel etc, and enjoy your new brakes. I cannot fault this system. I am a 1st time brake bleeder. It took 5 minutes, worked flawlessly. You don’t need any other kit, or to pay your shop £25 to do it for you.

Ich bin mit dem Wartungsset soweit super zufrieden. Ich konnte meine Bremse ohne Probleme entlüften und zieht wieder sportlich an. Mit allen enthalten Werkzeugen und Adaptern kann man zur Not auch etwas improvisieren, das war bei mir nämlich der Fall. Habe ein Prophete e-MTB Graveler. Die Bremsanlage ist leider in dem Adapterset nicht vorgesehen, daher musste ich mich auf etwas Kleckerei einstellen. Ging aber soweit gut und passende Anschlüsse kann man sich ja nachkaufen. Soweit ist aber alles top, die Bremse ist wieder so zuverlässig wie sie sein soll. Gerne wieder ;]

Goed de gebruiksaanwijzing lezen, werkt simpel en goed veel koppel mogelijkheden gewoon een doordacht goed product.

Great kit. I could pull my rear brake lever all the way to the hand grip with no resistance. Ordered this kit because of all the parts and 2 bottles of fluid. I have never done a brake bleed before but thought I would give it a try. I was easily able to "burp" the brake line by following some instructions on Youtube. I got all the air out of the system without having to do a complete bleed. The brakes work great now. The kit includes everything you need and includes lots of adapters for different brands of brakes. I would highly recommend this kit. Easy to use and you will save a bundle of money compared to having the work done at a bike shop. Darryl
