Casio Keyboard
I use this product to play music!

Good quality with a good sound
My (adult) son tells me this is a good quality organ with a good sound; he just plays for fun and is a grade 7 standard on the piano.Only downsides - it did not come with an adaptor and music does not stand up easily, a groove would have solved this.

Could be cheaper.
Sound quality not bad, everything what you need for the beginners but could be a bit chipper. My advice to decrease a price.

Disappointed already
I bought a Casio CTK-2500 from M H Technologies via Amazon and it arrived yesterday. I'm a complete beginner and already disappointed with this keyboard - and I haven't even turned it on yet! The reason is that this keyboard will operate on 6 batteries or via a mains adapter. However no adapter is included? Whats more, there is no indication which is the correct adapter to buy. I don't think I've ever bought a piece of equipment that requires a mains adapter that doesn't have it included. Is this even legal?? I would ask Amazon to remove M H Technologies from its list of suppliers. A further problem is that this keyboard is squarely aimed at beginners and yet Casio can't be bothered to include a booklet with a few simple tunes and instructions to help beginners to get started. I really want to send this keyboard back to Amazon. My advice - don't buy this unit.

Excelente producto, marca, materiales, sonido, ...
Excelente producto, excelente servicio. No tenía idea.

Great inexpensive keyboard - sweet vintage synth sounds!
Fantastic keyboard for a newbie or adult just getting into it. I purchased this keyboard based on the quality of the sound samples it came with - the 80s synth sounds were what I was looking for specifically - and the touch sensitive keyboard. I also liked its MIDI capability should I want to record anything with it. Build quality is pretty high - there is a bit of flex to the keys section, but I tend to hammer on it harder than I should, and as an amateur I haven't felt short changed by not having a full 88 keys. Sound quality is really great - and should be, digital technology is cheap enough now to support super high quality sound samples even in inexpensive devices - but I was really impressed by the built in speakers, which are usually not great on entry level keyboards. These sound fantastic. I haven't used the "dance music" feature at all as I found it a bit annoying, but children may get a few hours of entertainment out of it. I also really liked the fact that the LCD display shows you graphically what notes you are playing, both on a little keyboard diagram and in standard notation - great learning tool, well done Casio!*If anyone from Casio is listening, the only improvements I would like to see made would be onboard multitrack recording capability (super simple and cheap to implement nowadays) and a virtual FM synth model with user adjusted parameters.*

Good Keyboard. Worst Delivery
Keyboard is good. Best for beginners I would say. Has multiple instruments to practice on. I would recommend this for any beginner. I used it for almost 3 weeks now.Amazon delivery is pathetic though. It promises one day delivery before ordering. After order, it says 2 days delivery which was not at all honored. Finally delivered after 4 days.

As good as it gets (for this price)
Was looking for a cheap portable piano for my dorm, and this is a great purchase so far for someone who hasn't touched one since he was a child. It's (relatively) firmly built, has decent (though not amazing) sound quality and speakers, and is pretty light at 6-7 pounds. There's plenty of tones to work with, though it's not by any means all inclusive (and I tend to stick with piano for the most part anyway). On top of that, there's a pitch bender (which I use occasionally), 4 step touch sensitivity, a metronome (which is slightly loud and which I never use), and a number of songs banked to start learning (which I also never use). The volume control has a noticeable gap in between a couple of increments (that is to say, it goes from slightly too soft to slightly too loud), and the display is good enough, though the notes/keys pressed are a little hard to read without a light directly over it.It does also need occasional wiping with a wet cloth/paper towel (like every 5 times I use it or so), and a couple of keys can be a bit squeaky depending on the angle at which I mash on them, but like I said, for CDN170 (plus 40 for a stand and 22 for a sustain pedal), this is a great practice/composing instrument.
