I bought these clips for my thicker curly hair. Surprisingly these have worked well for me. I've been able to wear them for longer periods of time without them slipping out or causing me any pain. They don't feel super sturdy but so far they haven't broken.

I have really thick hair so it’s hard for me to find clips that actually hold it. This banana clip is amazing and so perfect! It holds all my hair. It’s so easy to use. I love the colors of the clips too. I love that I got 2 of them in the pack for this price. So far they have been very durable and I’ve had no issues with hair falling out. Really love these banana clips.

Well-made and nicely designed, but not good for thick hair - these do not stay closed around all my hair.

This is pretty good! I’d say I have quite a bit of hair according to my hair stylist, and this was okay to get on. I definitely need some practice bc it was hard to do at first to make it look right, but I’m getting there. I’d say if you think you have quite a bit of hair that’s on the straighter end, I’d say this is okay. If you think you have a lot of hair and/or it has texture like major waves or curls, maybe not. It was definitely smaller than I pictured; however, it works pretty well in my hair. It has great hold and grip, and I don’t feel like it will fall. However, I predict it won’t last too long. The spring system seems weak just from the few times I tried it. I’m fine with it breaking at some point, but if it is soon, I’ll be mad. Overall, recommend for those that believe it can work for them! Super cute and love the tortoise color option! Edit: 7/4/2025 I bought these in may and they worked up until now; however, today the black one broke, I’ve been using it for work instead of a hair tie so I’m sad about it, but I’ll just the brown one instead now. I broke it while trying to put it in, and I didn’t have much strain on it, so idk how it happened. There’s a photo below of it broken. I like these, but I’m sad one of them broke already. 7/29/25: The other one broke. The glue for the small little metal piece that keeps it springy is terrible and is the reason it breaks. Love the idea but would not buy it again!

I wanted to like these but I think they are only for people with thin hair. I wore this to the gym once and my hair was constantly bursting out and looked wild when I tried to snap it back in without a mirror.

These banana clips are amazing. I have medium length but very thick hair and they hold it perfectly. I can put my hair back with this clip, wear it all day without slipping or needing to readjust and take it down at night. The clasp is an improvement over the originals. No pulling or snapping open. Highly recommend.

These are really great! They had these when I was a little kid in the 80s and none of them ever fit in my hair and finally I found some that do! They’re very easy to put in and close in long dense hair. It looked very nice and they are versatile. I wish they also made some that were a little bit longer

Nothing against the clip itself, I think it is really pretty on my head but I haven’t quite figured out how it can stay on my head, feels not as sturdy but really cute

Cercavo qualcosa che tenesse legati bene i capelli ma senza che si spezzino come il classico elastico tirato, portandolo per lavoro. E devo dire che con questi mi sto trovando benissimo, non tirano, lasciano i capelli ben legati e morbidi e facili da legare.

These clips are strong and well made. I had doubts that they would be suitable for my thick hair, but they’re perfect and held my hair very securely.
