I just started learning how to knit and wanted to get some circle needles. My first two projects were a scarf, for which I have a pair of straight, long needles, and my other project was a rather large baby blanket, which required circle needles to hold all the stitches properly. I considered just buying a pair from Joann's, but the pair I was going to buy had literally horrendous reviews and was the only one I could buy, plus it was like 1/3rd the price of this, so I figured I would just buy this set as it was more product for my dollar. The metal needles are quite nice - they're lightweight, slightly pointy but not too terrible, although I wouldn't recommend pressing on them a lot because your fingers will inevitably hurt, and it came with many accessories and options which I felt really made it a great deal for the money. They're pretty sturdy in my opinion, although you do have to watch out to make sure that your cord doesn't actually unscrew out of the needle if you're like me and not really watching when you twist the needles while knitting. That being said, while I do like the variety and how easy it is to use them, I will say that they were WAY more slippery than I expected. I guess in hindsight I should have expected them to be somewhat slippery, but for some reason it never really crossed my mind. As a result, I've had a few times where the needle slipped completely out of my hand while I'm mid-way through a row on my blanket, causing all of the rows to drop off the needle. It was easy enough luckily to slip the needle back on, but let me tell you, once you're like 30 rows in on a 108 stitch row and you're a beginner who still doesn't quite understand how to fix stitches if they disappear into the yarn abyss that is your terribly knitted project, then you won't know the sheer, heart stopping panic I felt the first time that happened. And the second. And the third. And the fourth. That being said I got much more used to it, and I figured out how to hold the needles and yarn so that it wouldn't really happen anymore. I did ultimately end up getting bamboo circle needles as well which, quite frankly, I do prefer a little bit more over these metal ones, but I like having the variety of both metal and bamboo at my fingertips. For a starter, the price and the items included in this pack is pretty good in my opinion. I only have these relatively cheap, two sets of needles in metal and bamboo so I can't really compare to how they hold up against you know, actually nice knitting needles, but considering I'm just starting out, they get the job done and that's all that really matters to me.

I just opened these up to continue practicing my knitting. I’m a longtime crochet artist, which I occasionally use Tunisian crochet hooks. The set I have are niche and very expensive, and the cords are just standard cords. This knitting needle set comes with swivel cords which is a huge surprise! Most of these corded needles/hooks usually don’t come with swivel cords. And what makes me even more happy, they fit on my expensive Tunisian hooks!The metal feels really nice, not light or heavy. And the finish on the metal makes it easy for the yarn to glide, so learning to knit will be pretty easy with this set. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I was excited when I happened upon this set of circular knitting needles. It is a pretty decent set for the price. It comes with all the needle sizes you would need and you can make the length any size you need because they give you more than enough connectors. Yarn doesn't snag on the connections however after every row or two (or rounds) I find I have to tighten the connectors (this is reason for 4 stars) but for the price....I'll take it! This set was more economical for me to purchase rather than a few sets of different sizes. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and would buy it again as well as recommend it to my friends and family who knit.

I bought these needles about a year ago and I am so glad I did! I really love them. The connector is good, especially when you use the key and the rubber pad to tighten them. I have used 2 cables put together with an extender to do magic loop for smaller knitting in the round and the cables hold up very well to this. I had thought I may use this set for a while and then buy a more expensive set, but I'm honestly thinking of just buying a other set of these (since I consistently have multiple WIPs.) I've had absolutely no complaints. They're smooth and slippery which makes for faster knitting. The weight is good. I enjoy the cables. I would say excellent quality especially for the in price.

They did come apart on me at first but once I used the wrench things, they stayed together beautifully! The paint did wear off a little quickly on the needles but they are steel so it is what it is!

I have knitted two sweaters used this set, they get jobs done but need to screw all connections tie every few row to ensure they don't come apart. If you only need it for one or two projects, they are ok for the price. But if you intend to keep it for long term, it's probably better to buy a better set (which I have never used, i don't know if they will be any better). Also, this set start from 3.0mm (not 2.75mm), I don't think I will need to buy another set if I want to knit socks. The biggest needle is 10.00mm, it won't work if you need to knit a bigger project. Also, the needle seems to be a litter short for me, I will prefer them to be a little longer.

I am a novice knitter and I love this bundle as the sizes are interchangeable with the plastic screw on cable. They have worked great for me. Many different sized needles and a few sizes on the cables. Does not break the bank and works fabulously.

I can’t even get through a full row without needing to re-tighten the needles. They loosen from the cord after just a few minutes of use. If you don’t notice right away, the yarn will get stuck in the small gap that forms between the needle and the cord, and if you don’t fix it asap (hard to do when you have a lot of stitches stuck on the needle) then the whole thing comes apart and you have a huge mess.
