Was not clear in the advert, but arrived with strange plug and no adapter. Changed plug voiding the guarente and it did not work. Now in rubbish bin where it belongs

I have been having trouble cutting the sourdough boule bread that I bake in a cast iron pot. This electric bread knife cuts even slices quickly and efficiently. I think of it as a chainsaw for my bread. My boule loaves have a hard, crackly crust that causes a manual bread knife to press down too hard to be able to bite into the crust; this causes me to mis-shape the loaf which results in uneven slices of varying withs in each slice. This knife allows me to cut full sandwich worthy slices with little effort. The price was the right and the other reviews encouraged me to try this knife. I am happy with my purchase. You will not be disappointed.

I researched all kinds of electric carving knives at prices up to overt $150 before deciding to try this one. I've used this electric carving knife on several turkeys, a few chickens, some roasts and a couple of ham legs with great success. I was worried that the seemingly loose blade assembly would be a problem but it has cut extremely well every time. Slices come out smooth and the meat is not torn up. Cutting speed is excellent and doesn't require very much downward force to happen. Black+Decker has made an excellent product and Amazon sold it at a great price. Thank-you very much!

Defected and would't return it !! Complete waste of moneyyy !!!
