Maybelline The City Kits All-in-One Eye & Cheek Palette, Pink Edge, 0.42 oz.

Paletized makeup isn't for shipping and you take a chance having it mailed to you. You trust the brand, having used it for decades but you know nothing about who's packaging and shipping your stuff. I took that chance and of course the makeup came broken, not smashed beyond repair. I worked shipping/receiving for years and take pride in any of my tasks especially if seen by anyone. There is no reason for anything to be broken upon shipping when packaged correctly and you can't rate a product negatively because it arrives in less than stellar condition. You're not rating the product but rather the human being compensated to get that product to you in the same pristine condition in which it went into the shipping container. My pallet was usable with minimal loss after a few minutes cleaning. The variety of pinkish colors suit my skin tone well and can go from day to night with ease with one slim pallet that's also helping with my main downsizing goals by offering blushes, shadows, highlighting, bronzing, shading and hiding all in one. I may not like or use one or two colors and all makeup is ridiculously expensive for the amount you get. Good thing a little goes a long way. 4 solid stars for the product...up half a star if they would have included a few applicators. No stars for the shipper since it arrived broken and I know it didn't have to.

I got this in the Pink Edge and found it to be even better than hoped. I wanted it for the cool toned pink eye shadows and thought I would probably never use the blush and highlighter since I have others I really like. However, grabbing a single palette out that I can use for eyes and cheeks has proven to be fast and easy. The blush color suits my fair skin perfectly and the highlight is subtle, but there. I love the soft summer look you can create with the eye shadows and think the ones to the far right will be perfect for fall. This is perfect for a simple everyday or casual look, but has some deeper colors for a bit more definition when wanted. I have been impressed how long it lasts, even without primer. I have super fair skin and finding shadows that don't overwhelm my coloring is not easy. This one does it. I like it enough that I ordered the Urban Lights palette as well.

I could not find this Item in my area so I ordered it here. I have used this palette before and love all of the colors. That being said this seller needs to learn the proper way to package make up to prevent breakage. After receiving my product broken and then being told by Amazon this item is not returnable, I read other reviews and discovered this is a regular occurrence with this seller. All I can say is you’ll love the product but buyer beware place at your own risk since they will not replace broken products.

I first bought this palette over 5 years ago and since then I found that no other blush compares to how this one fits my skin tone. Initially I bought it for around $10, so it's a shock to buy it at $17 now. The rest of the eyeshadows are barely pigmented and do not blend smoothly, so I do not recommend if you are looking for a quality eyeshadow palette. I am still trying to find a comparable blush to this shade so I will update once I do.

The links in this pallet are superb for light to fair skin tones. If you want a fresh glow that looks super natural buy this! There are 8 shadows that compliment each other no matter which you put on. I usually choose three shades...a light, medium, and dark and they all look flawless. The blush is perfect and really gives just a pop of summer color to your cheeks. The lightest blush color is a beautiful highlight! And all the colors are totally buildable! I decided to set my smallest brush in water then pick up the darkest color on my brush..Perfect eyeliner! I believe Maybelline also makes a pallet with darker shades too!

The highlighter arrived cracked into several pieces. The blush and eyeshadows weren’t broken. I ordered this set because the colors are pretty, but some of the lighter colors are a bit shiny/glittery. Otherwise, perfect.

I wanted to give my preteen daughter some makeup in her Easter basket, but being that she's still young, I didn't want to give her anything too showy. Just something subtle she could wear to school if she was feeling particularly girly. This was the perfect solution. It goes on very sheer and light, with just enough shimmer. I'm not sure how well this would work on an older teen or adult who really wants bold highlights. I've never been one for pastels (I gravitate to darker, more dramatic makeup) but I imagine if I were, I'd look elsewhere. Its definitely not as bright a highlighter as some other products I've seen.

I used to have this palette and have been looking for it again for awhile. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It is perfect to keep in my tote bag for touchups, etc. Thank you!

Estoy sorprendida con este producto. Todos los colores están bonitos, te cabe en una cosmetiquera pequeña-mediana por lo que puedas llevarlo a cualquier lado, todo el día. La verdad solo la compré por el tamaño para un viaje y salir del apuro, perooooo no! Vaya sorpresa!!! Está mejor que otras marcas que por mucho son mas caras.
