easy to assemble, strong and looks good
This is a great product . Comes well packed and slots together in the box easily for shipment . Quick and easy instructions that are simple to follow . I used a bradawl to make a tiny pilot hole for ease, but the screws are very sharp and go into the wood easily to assemble on the legs and leg brace . Do watch out for the existing screws - they are easy to see so put your screws in accordingly to avoid them . Don't over tighten your screws so that they don't go too far into the wood . And don't go too fast on the drill to avoid any chance of splitting the wood . Excellent quality , would highly recommend

Brilliant at a great price
Some of the other reviews say it doesnt have predrilled holes but it doesnt need them. With an electric screwdriver they easily drive in. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble. And such a good price for a really sturdy bench. Ive had mine for some months now and use it all the time.

Love it
Love this bench, it is so strong and sturdy and worth every penny. Easy to assemble but it is heavy for manoeuvring around single handedly.

Sturdy Bench
Like a few other reviews I don't know what all the fuss is about there not being any predrilled holes or indication of where the screws should be placed. Following the included instructions it is obvious where the screws need to be placed and using a cordless electric screwdriver it took me only 15-20 minutes to assemble the bench; predrilled holes are not necessary as the screws drive in easily. I am thrilled with the bench which is well made, sturdy & looks good in my garden. Also good customer service; order placed Sat 1 June, dispatched Mon 3 June, delivered Wed 5 June - earlier than estimated! I cannot fault any aspect of my purchase of this product.

Excellent quality
Firstly I would like to correct the other comments about this being difficult to assemble. All you need is a drill, set square, pencil, tape measure and a Phillips screwdriver. It’s simple and the instructions are perfectly clear. Just drill pilot holes and it takes less than 20 minutes to assemble. The cost of timber and screws alone would cost more than the price. Recommended.

Nice bench pilot holes for screws to stop wood splitting would be even better.Delivery very annoying was told being delivered on Saturday even 5 hours after it had been delivered Friday morning.sheer luck I was at home.

Excellent!
Arrived even sooner than advised and simple to assemble the remaining pieces. Just had to be careful to position new screws so they didn’t coincide with the existing ones. Very sturdy - absolutely delighted! Thank you.

Why is there any negative feedback?
I don’t understand the negative comments around predrilled holes, position marks and cross screw interference. Seriously? This is a sturdy, solid, PART ASSEMBLED product that just needs 16 screws to fit the 4 parts together. It took less than 15mins. You don’t need to predrill! The supplied screws cut through easily. All you need to do is use an electric drill/ screwdriver to remove physical effort and to use common sense by staggering the screws to maintain wood integrity and avoid any cross screws. Yes the wood has some tanalising stains and knot holes…paint it if it offends the eye. Some people seem to want to moan about minutae for the sake of it. We are not using it as a seat but to stand the wife’s alpine pots at a convenient work height. The only problem is …..it is such good value and solidity, the wife wants another for her other pots! (But I don’t mind as it saves me a lot of time and offcut waste by letting these people do it)
