Best Trailer Out There
This has to be the best trailer out there for how the wife and I take bike trips. We take long rides on our electric converted bikes and sometimes need to take more items. So great that we can fit a small tent, a small moving blanket for under the tent, sleeping bag with inflatable pillows, an electric tire inflator, a spare e bike battery, spare clothes, a decent size cooler with all kinds of food and drinks, and a host of other miscellaneous items in the handy side pockets. Yea, it easily hauls ALL THAT!! To be honest, I wasn't comfortable with the bottom of the trailer not having any support and heavy items causing the canvas floor to sag. So I custom cut a piece of thin pressed particle board and mounted it to the bottom of the frame for support. It did increase the weight of the trailer but I don't have to worry about the canvas floor wearing through any time soon. Other than the saggy floor it's an amazing trailer and just glides right along as if it's not even there!

Super smooth on pavement
I am over the moon with my Burley Nomad. The size is perfect, not too big and not too small. I could have purchased something less expensive, but paying more has saved me with assembly time and storage. To be able to take the wheels off by simply pressing a button is so amazing. It flattens for storage just as fast. There is nothing bad I have to say about this item. I had researched all trailers for about two weeks. I even emailed Burley to ask if the trailer was compatible with my 20” wheeled e-bike. Burley replied saying that they wouldn’t recommend the Nomad because the 20” wheels on my bike were too low for the 16” Nomad wheels. I decided to order the Nomad anyway as I use the trailer on smith surface mostly streets. I am so happy I decided to get it. It is truly a game changer for me as I am constantly on the go running errands and transporting stuff on my bike. I highly highly recommend this item. I don’t think there is another trailer out there like it.

Okay touring trailer
I bought this touring trailer when I actually needed a cargo trailer but couldn’t afford one. It’s too small for my needs and not heavy duty enough for a homeless lifestyle. If you are an occasional bikepacker, this is probably at least as good as the other options available.

Great Grocery Getter!
I purchased the Nomad with an eye toward bike touring, but in the meantime, this is a great grocery getter. I sold my car last year and get around mostly by bike. Until I bought this trailer, I had to make several trips to the store each week. I can load more groceries into the Nomad than I was typically buying when I had a car, so now I just have to make one big grocery run each week. The installation was ridiculously easy, and the high visibility tarp and reflective strip on the back is nice. I took out the inner tubes and installed tire inserts so I wouldn’t have to worry about flats – something I highly recommend doing if you live in the American Southwest or anywhere else that has a lot of goat heads and pointy plants.

Solid utility trailer
The originator of children's bicycle trailers, Burley has another winner in its Nomad cargo trailer. It's constructed similar to the Eugene, Oregon, company's child and pet trailers. The front and rear frame tubes lift and push together onto plastic saddles, then lock together with two latches. Uncoupling them lets the trailer lay flat — front to back — for storage. The two 16-inch wheels attach and detach through push buttons. The included metal hitch attaches to your bicycle and a rubber connector on the tow bar connects the trailer to the hitch. Unlike the child and pet trailers, the Nomad can be attached to a bicycle on either the left or right side.A rain-resistant cover bolts onto the sides of the trailer and is fastened through D-rings on all four corners. Because the bolts make the cover more permanently attached, it isn't quite as convenient as the pet and child trailers, where the top can be unsnapped completely. On the Nomad, it might be more difficult to place bulky items inside the trailer and take them out.Inside, the trailer has three large mesh pockets and six interior clips for securing gear. There's also a collapsible interior divider. The Nomad weighs just under 17 pounds and can haul up to 100 pounds of gear, making it very versatile. We like to use it camping to cart gear from our campsite to the lake or other recreation areas. Like all similar trailers, one of the downsides is that it's a challenge to secure when leaving the trailer parked. We put a lock cable through the wheels and the frame to help tether it to our bike. The Nomad is spendy; I won't deny that. I was fortunate to find a used version of the current model for sale online. I paid a third of the new Nomad cost, so I got a great deal. Some people prefer one-wheel bike trailers but this two-wheeled model suits me just fine. It maneuvers well and doesn't create a lot of drag. It's one great trailer.

A very good trailer, except two things
The trailer is good, except two things: the tires are unacceptably low quality, and the construction of the aluminum carrier when it is in a horizontal position makes it difficult to remove the contents from the back of the trailer.
