I love these tires so far. I have a Troy-Bilt Kohler Magnum 8 Horse Tiller that has both wheels frozen stuck on the axle for over a decade. I decided to get it up and running again, which I did. The last problem was getting the old rims off, which was impossible. So I bought these new tires along with new tire spoons. I tried for a few days to get the rims off the machine by spraying a few times a day with PB Blaster and other lubricators along with a small sledgehammer and have up. They're on there for good. So I decided to use my sawzall with a long blade and cut the old tires off the rims. I avoided hitting the rims with the blade. I cut in a circle around the rims and then used a flathead screwdriver to then pry off the beaded part of the tires that were attached to the rims. This was surprisingly really easy to do. Then I got a wire wheel for my drill and wired off all the rust and old paint off the insides and beading part of the rims and used a rustoleum spray can that was primer and paint and sprayed the whole rim with a couple layers of paint and let it dry. Now for the fun part of getting these new tires on the rims. I tried the spoons which I realized within a few minutes that they were of no use to me. SO... I decided to get a small bowl of warm water and added a few squirts of dawn liquid dish detergent in it and used a paintbrush to put the soapy water on the tire beads and rims, then with the tiller on its side I took these tires and just pushed them on to the rims and they slipped right onto the rims so easily. I was shocked. I then pushed the lower part of the tire onto the bead, connected my air hose and slowly pulled to other bead onto the upper part of the rim till the tire sealed and filled up to 40psi, tested for leaks with the soapy water on the beads, no leaks, then deflated to the proper psi. Did the same for the other tire. Absolutely 100& satisfied with these tires. They also cam in a box and not folded out banded tight. Perfect. Brought this old beast back to life.

Great tires for the farm riding mower. No more slipping and sliding getting around the orchid on hilly terrain. While rather aggressive looking the tires actually do not tear up the grass as much as I thought they would. We used a mini DIY tire changer to install. Be forewarned that these are 4-ply tires. They are a lot stiffer than the 2-ply turf saver tires. It took two of us to get the tires on the wheels. The first bead was easy enough to get on with a good amount of lube, but the second bead was tough to stretch over the rim even with all the lube. Having the second pair of hands to hold an anchor point, and the tire is a must. If you have the option to take to the tires to a tire place to install, it might be a good option.

I have real rocky terrain, so my stock tires didn't steer very well, but these tires work well for the front tires on my lawnmower. They are pretty stiff and I was worried about installing them, but they were no harder to install than any others.

This was to replace a leaking tire on a 30+ year old tiller. The rim hub was frozen on the axle so I had to replace the tire while the rim was on the tiller axle. Getting the old tire off was accomplished with tools around the shop and the tiller jacked up. Installing the new tire was another story. I finally drained all of the fuel out of the tiller and laid it on its side with the empty rim up. The first day, I decided I needed real tire spoons. The local Auto Zone had a set of 10" spoons in stock. I cleaned up the rim and installed a new valve stem. The stem was smaller in diameter than automotive but the local hardware store had stems in stock. Silicone spray was used as a lubricant for stem and tire installation. This four ply rated tire is very stiff to work with. Getting the inner bead over the rim was a minor struggle. The outer bead was a nightmare and kept slipping . I finally clamped a small pair of vice grip pliers to the rim to keep the bead from rotating. At 74 I do not have as much strength as I used to. I was able to make progress and the bead was finally on the rim. It was a real feeling of accomplishment when compressed air caused both beads to seat properly on the rim. Now I can only hope that the other tire will hold air and get me through the spring tilling. My advice is to obtain smooth edged tire spoons before you tackle installing this tire. Screwdrivers and other tools with sharp edges will tear up the bead and the tire will leak. The tire is a good value and appears to be durable but only time will tell on durability.

The tires on my tiller were I believe the originals so pretty old and they were losing air quickly, dry rot, etc so it was time to replace them. Found these and they looked like exactly what I needed so I bought them. I looked at trying to get the old tires off and new ones on myself and my advice don’t try it. Cost $20 at our local tire store to get new ones put on. Tiller is ready to tear up some ground.

This tire has been a fantastic investment for my tractor. The lug tread provides excellent traction, even in tough terrain, and the durability is outstanding. It handles heavy loads well and shows minimal wear even after extensive use. Great quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable agricultural tire!
