LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Cancel-n-Conceal Skin Perfector Brightening Dark Circle Concealer and Color Corrector, Porcelain/Fair

I have been searching for quite some time for a concealer for my under eyes now that I’ve developed those annoying, fine lines and wrinkles. I fell in love with the other Laura Geller products, and when I ordered this, I had no expectations. The first day I applied it I was not impressed, but it was my fault because I had applied too much product and within a few hours it didn’t look great. On the second day I used less product and also used my concealer brush to apply and, wow, what a difference! This is officially my holy Grail , I love the entire make up line and adore this concealer.

Looks natural and brightens. Covers the dark circles I have so well without looking fake or cakey. Goes on quickly and blends well. Can be worn with foundation or just pressed powder over it. A new go to in my makeup bag!

I'm 57 and have had dark circles under my eyes my whole life (genetic, so they're not going anywhere) but I've only been using makeup on them for about 6 months. I've been using Smashbox by Becca and have been very happy with it, but I've been seeing the Laura Geller ads everywhere and decided to try since it's for "mature" skin. The correction is the same as Smashbox, but it's thicker and doesn't blend in as easily, and it feels dry. It's not a bad product, but I think Smashbox is much better.

Like the Laura Geller light pallet and the mineral foundation with brush, this concealer is excellent. I am 76. Makeup is tricky at this age. It tends to settle on lines and cake. Not Laura Geller! For me, the concealer is a great starting step - covering without calling attention to itself. The foundation offers a translucent brightening and blurring effect. The palette (look in the bottom of the palette for application suggestions) adds the final touches. The friends in my circle look at me and then look again…commenting, “You are looking so good.” …Shortens my morning routine - what’s not to love!

This gel looks a little too pink. I did apply it on the dark shadows and they were gone. Cannot ask for more. It is creamy enough and makeup stays put.

Love how well it covers dark spots. Not great for under eyes. On me it showed every fine line and wrinkle in HD even with eye cream and makeup primer first. It is useful on dark spots where fine lines are not a concern.

Very light but has big coverage. Goes on smoothly and stays all day. If you need a little more during the day it does not cake or exaggerate wrinkles.

I was hoping to love this but sadly did not. Maybe it would work better for very young women but I found it “grabby”. It did not go on easily and didn’t feel creamy. My skin color is very light and it was way darker than could possibly work even to counteract dark circles.
