Is there alcohol in this product or can children have it?

Of course there is alcohol in it, why would you eat it otherwise? Children in the U.K. have eaten Christmas pudding with alcohol for centuries so yes children can have it!

Looking at the list of ingredients i do not see plums listed! why no plums?

The pre-Victorian use of the word "plums" was a term for raisins. Christmas pudding contains no actual plums.

How does this differ from the Matthew Walker "Classic" version?

At the local shop (in San Diego) where I bought mine, they said this pudding has more preserved cherries than the traditional version. I dosed mine with brandy before Christmas, but haven't eaten it yet.
