OPI Nail Lacquer - Black and Brown Shades - Chip Resistant & Long-Lasting Polish with OPI Pro-Wide Brush (15ml)

I adore this colour. A colleague at work had it, and she gave me the name. I've worn it so often since I bought it. It is very dark, to the point where my husband at first thought it was black. But then he realised it wasn't when i showed him my nails in the light. You can see the burgundy in it in the right light. I just think it's so smart. I tend to wear it as more of an Autumn / Winter colour, and usually opt for a brighter colour during Spring / Sunner. But there are no rules when it comes to nail colours! I also find OPI polish to be great quality, and this is no exception. I always put a base coat on first, then two layers of this (the second layer makes it really dark), then a top coat. The base and top coat are part of the secret to my nails lasting longer, the other secret is a good quality nail varnish, which this is. I always keep my nails short and have gotten a week out of this without chipping in the past.

I didn't like the look of this in the bottle as it looked a bit brown but when I put it on, I loved it! Colour turned out a very dark grey with beautiful sparkly bits in. Put it on on a Thursday evening (2 coats plus a base and top coat), did a lot of housework with no rubber gloves on, and it was still good as new. Removed it the following Wednesday as I wanted a different colour. Very impressed with the quality, colour and seller. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

Such a pretty colour my private jet. I think this was from a Christmas holiday collection & it was very popular and loved. A good find. Was in search for the perfect brown. This shade has tiny sliver sparkles that are not that obvious, just right. The only thing that bothers me so much is even with a expensive top coat it chips and it's annoying. I honestly think it's down to the formula of this polish. I had to redo my nails twice & next morning saw it chopped again, I use washing gloves too to wash the dishes so I've been careful to keep it chip free. Overall love the colour. Great as a winter colour.

OPI are a great quality brand. As a professional nail technician I find it worth the extra cost. Lovely sized brush, easy to hold and the colour has great coverage. Non-streaky and easy to apply. Two coats are perfect. I purchased this colour to replace a retired similar shade which was a favourite of a client of mine and she was delighted!

Gorgeous Colour Lasts well beautiful covers well

Completely and utterly useless. The varnish remained tacky for hours, until I gave up and removed it (ten minutes before leaving home for the event I really wanted to have pretty nails for). It's also really sticky and gummy and prone to pooling around the edges of the nail. I can't comment on its longevity (if one were ever lucky enough to get it to dry), but in terms of it being easy to apply, it's a big thumbs down from me! ☹️

Mein bisher teuerster Nagellack ever. Aber die vielen guten Rezensionen haben mich einen Versuch starten lassen. Ich bin begeistert. Nach ca. 1 Woche die ersten kleinen Abblätterungen am Nagelrand. Andere Produkte zwischen 3-8€ haben nie so lange gehalten. Teilweise nicht Mal 1 Tag. Selbst bei der Gartenarbeit mit Handschuhen und beim Abwaschen hat dieser hier so gut gehalten. Er ist leicht aufzutragen und es reichen zwei Anstriche für einen tiefes schwarz. Ich werde ihn wieder kaufen.
