Small picture, cute paint colors
The picture in this paint kit is a small-but-thick piece of cardboard. The kit also includes a plastic frame the cardboard snaps into, a brush, 10 cute pastel-y colors, and a cardboard pallet to pop the paint pots into. Also some plastic stars and varnish for a finishing flourish. The illustration print is high quality, numbered for color guidance. The small size makes this ideal for kids, or for a fully grown adult who who wants to have a little paint therapy on a work night.

Enjoyable activity my seven year old was able to complete alone--turned out great!
This is a high quality set. My seven year old opened the package when it arrived yesterday and immediately wanted to do it. I told him I would only be able to read the directions to him and then I needed to cook supper and he would have to work alone. He agreed. The little pots of paint pop into the cardboard structure so they look like a little painter’s palette. It’s extremely cute and they remained there well. I explained that he needs to match the numbers on the paint to the numbers on the picture and I advised him to use the lighter colors first. Then I went to the kitchen and my child independently created a super beautiful picture. It kept him busy for at least 45 minutes or so and it truly looks great. He did paint over the mouth and eyes but I think it looks really interesting without those. We let it dry overnight and then applied the varnish just now (this looks like elmer’s glue or mod podge) and stuck the shiny stars to it. The only thing left is to pop it into the frame and put it on the wall. He is extremely proud of his work, it looks great, and it kept him occupied doing something worthwhile for a nice chunk of time. Love it!

Great Introduction Into The World Of Paint By Numbers
Our seven year old really likes crafts—particularly ones that use paint pots. She has never done anything paint by number, though—this adorable badger has been the perfect introduction for her. The design is simple and the amount of numbers to color (10) are ideal for this age. She especially likes the color selection (soft, muted shades) and inclusion of glittering gems. With adult supervision and following included directions/helpful tips, she has been making good progress. Should mistakes be made, there is an additional paper insert of the badger and his number sequence to help remedy problems. We have lots of Ravensburger puzzles, but this is the first craft kit we’ve tried from this company. It won’t be our last—everything about this kit is thoughtfully designed.

Quality Kit From a Trusted Company
I've been a big fan of Ravensburger games and puzzles over the years, and their CreArt Paint by Number Kits are very well done. This cute badger kit is for ages 7+, and it's not as detailed or as difficult as the kit I have that's for 9+. But this kit would make a fun activity for a teen or adult. Doesn't have to be finished all in one day. Estimated to take four hours to complete. I've been buying kits to donate to a local nonprofit that works with teens and young kids in foster care and/or in need of social services. There is always a request for art supplies or craft kits. What I like about this kit is that it comes with a frame. In the description it states: "CreArt contains everything children need to create their painting: a high-quality, thick painting board; 10 water-based, opaque acrylic paints in numbered pots; pallet to hold the easy-open/resealable paint pots steady; durable, fine-point paintbrush; easy-to-follow guide sheet; glittering star gems with finish/glue; and frame to display their finished artwork. Makes a great gift!" Reasonable price, well known company. Country of origin: Czech Republic.

Easy set to paint
This set really is nice. It comes with a sheet of paper that shows the numbers to use that matches to the paint cup. My daughter actually painted this first, then painted her canvas. Once dries, you can put in the white frame as the canvas just pops right in very easily. You can also add the stars stickers. What I really like about this is that the fox is outlined so the picture doesn't look blah when it's painted. We had another set by different company and the minute my daughter painted it, we had to outline it with a black sharpie because once painted any lines were gone and the painting looked drab.

Small
This was a lot smaller than anticiapated. However, the boys really enjoyed doing it so all is well that ends well. Thank you.
