Very happy buyer. Working in civils groundworks, I needed a boot that can handle being in water, adverse terrain, and with high quality ankle protection. I am not disappointed. At this price point I have no complaints. The outsole has excellent grip, even when working on muddy slopes. The water resistance has proven true thus far, keeping my feet dry, even when working in trenches (A bit of dubbin always helps too). Whilst not super light, they definitely aren't heavy. And a slightly wider fit keeps your feet comfortable all day. Excellent value!

This is the second pair of boots we have bought for our son, exactly the same. He works as a gas fitter / plumber and has worn his first pair every working day for almost three years. That means at least five full days a week, sometimes more. They have always been comfortable for him, and he very much enjoys the benefits of the steel toe and mid range sole protection. He hardly works in the wet, most of his job is spent inside. However, at times when he is needing to use these outside, up a ladder or on a roof, he is impressed also with the grip these boots offer. I have included a range of photos of the boots he has worn for three years and then one photo of him unboxing the new ones. You can see that on his old boots there is some splitting of the stitching but also a splitting on the leather at where his foot would naturally bend when walking. Other than that the appearance of wear is negligible. However, he has accepted that he has not really cared for his boots and never bothered to polish them over those three years. Leather needs to be looked after. This time we also bought him a dark tan boot polish, to add moisture and protection back into the boots. He does remark how light that they feel on his feet, much appreciated when wearing them for a full day. Noting also that his feet do not overly sweat when wearing them. They offer exceptional value for money, at around £70. They also look good when worn. Overall, a very impressive pair of hard-wearing boots, with the understanding that a little care of polishing, to add suppleness, is important. Recommended.

Good fit (true to size). Practically no break in needed on these - comfy straight out the box and comfy enough for a full day. Can be a bit sweaty with the waterproof membrane in the hot weather but all waterproof boots seem to be that way.

I bought these boots originally from Amazon but courier said they delivered them but in fact hadn’t. Ended up getting refunded and buying these exact boots else where, and they’ve been absolutely brilliant, still use them to this day. The comfort is 10/10, they’re very light for a steel toe, the steel toe doesn’t feel like a guillotine on the toes like a lot of boots. I’ve used these and a bus engineer, so they’ve held up super well against bashing, oil spills, water the lot Even the inside of the shoe has held up very well, and is only now starting to get holes inside after 3 years. I would 100% buy again, even for the comfort for every day gardening jobs, as well as work.

Boot in of itself is fine, look good, work good. But they fit way oversized compared to a standard uk men’s size 11, there is over an inch of space in the boot, compared to every other shoe that I own in men’s 11 where my toes touch the front of the shoe. These boots are absolutely useless for ballet - now we've got past that how good are they? I have had many, many (if I type many again you will get the idea) many! pairs of working boots in my career - from the stupidly expensive to the ludicrously cheap; so perhaps I can offer a little advice. When you want a pair of boots, no matter what it's for, you want them to be comfortable, safe, hardwearing and let's face it decent looking so no one on site or in the workplace can take the p... sorry, make fun of you. DeWalt have over the years provided some pretty good, if variable quality foot wear. I have had some of their boots fail, I have to be fair, but in the main mostly they have been good through the ridiculous punishment and torture I have unmitigatingly put them through - no i'm not a complete idiot - but if my boots were children I'd be behind bars! So what about these specific boots? (thank God at last he's got to the point!) Well, I've been waiting a few months to pen my review and it has been well worth the wait - simply put - these are some of the best boots for the price out there - flipping comfortable from day one, they support your ankles wonderfully and more importantly hold your entire foot securely, provided you wear proper socks for what you are doing - and apparently according to the guy I saw in the Brighton gay pride rally wearing a pair, were very comfortable and he was wearing tights! Seriously though - everyday wear and tear doesn't worry these tough little monsters; keep them clean and they will keep your feet safe and warm and more importantly comfortable. They are tough but treat them with a bit of respect and they will last you a sensible amount of time - people who walk about in wet concrete all day and never clean their boots, then complain that they fall apart after a month really need not apply - we've all met them (lots of agreement from the back I hear) and whatever they use will never be good enough - remember folks it's a bad workman who blames his tools - and yes there are a great number of 'tools' out there blaming everything. If you want a decent pair of work boots that will do what you want, simply, sensibly and without fuss and hassle then look no further - I always suggest that when you buy them, use a good quality suede protector spray on them to increase the life and waterproofing and like me you will be extremely happy with your purchase. One final note - these boots look good too - OK not high fashion, but rugged and to a degree quite smart in the scheme of things - I shouldn't really say that as now Gucci will copy them and the damn things will be ten times the price - my apologies! Go on, bite the bullet, pay the price and enjoy these boots - I very much doubt you will be disappointed - unless all your boots only last a month - perhaps this says more about you than the boots eh?

I have wide feet and I thought this was going to be a problem. I have tried other boots on including Screwfix, but they all seem too tight and narrow in the toe. I saw a review saying these titanium were the gold standard as it were. I ordered a pair from Amazon and lo and behold. They are excellent. had them on all day today.

Well, what can I say? I bought a pair of these excellent boots on the 5th November 2000 for £65.00 and near enough five years to the date, I have bought a replacement pair for just 60 pence more. FIVE YEARS!!!! These boots must be one of the best value products I have ever bought. I have worn them at least 4 to 5 times a week over that time period on my allotments doing a variety of jobs. Comfortable, perfect size for me, totally waterproof until recently around the front crease (see image) and the main reason for the replacement. Cleaned and wax often, never has a broken lace, never had any problems whatsoever. I will probably keep them for dry weather work if I can fix the broken bottom plate, But as far as quality goes, I hope these replacements last as long as the others did.
