Greenkey 664 Solitary Bee and Wasp House - Brown

No idea why Amazon asks if this is warm. I've no idea but it's a lovely bee house and I'm sure they will be happy with it. I love the design and it's excellent for a small garden and makes a good present.

Really good value. I have a couple of Bee Hotels already and thought that my little solitary bees could do with some more rooms. I put this up on the same fence and within an hour of it being installed, I had visitors inspecting and moving in. The bees are using it, and I am looking forward to seeing lots of little bees flying out of their new accommodation. **Update - one of my bee hotels has been closed. Due to woodpecker damage. Think the only thing that would keep that away would be steel plates all over it!

OK quality for what I paid. The bees seemed to prefer our older bee box. Some wildlife charities recommend replacing the used tubes after they hatch as they can contain dead bees and mites, but at this price it would be easier and cheaper to just throw the old one away and buy another. Looks better when painted with Cuprinol.

Really well made, looks great. I bought one as a gift and have since bought another for my own garden.

It was ok, but there was a screw missing on the hook and the tubes were loose and fell out at the top, not what you would expect, after mending it looks ok

Possibly the best and most affordable bee "condo" that I've got so far. Why? Excellent finish and by this I mean the bamboo tubes and the smaller "wasp" holes. Nearly / nearly all of them are clean and without stray splinters sticking into the tubes. These splinters are often what deter bees from using the tubes - they get stuck ! With care and without using any preservatives, they should last 2 maybe 3 seasons if sheltered from the winter weather - or put in a shed etc over winter and back in the garden before / before it gets too warm. End March maybe?

These are fab. Well made, strong and sturdy. Have bought them for my sons teacher as end of school year gift. Will be buying more.

Lovely little bee house. Good value for money. Only just put it out so I can’t comment on how it will weather, but for the amount I paid compared to others I’m very happy.

Prodotto rispondente alla descrizione. Molto carino. L’ho preso perché il mio sottoscala esterno è uno spazio ambìto da vespe vasaie e infatti è presente qualche nido naturale (si vede in foto), ma vedo girare molte altre vespe e api cosiddette solitarie e vorrei offrire loro un posto sicuro. Purtroppo l’ho acquistato penso troppo tardi per la stagione estiva già inoltrata (ormai è agosto), per ora non è stato comprensibilmente visitato dato che le api/vespe solitarie avranno già provveduto a trovare altri posti. La locazione è perfetta posta a sud/ovest, luogo riparato da pioggia ed intemperie, adiacente a fiori e piante. Insomma il resort perfetto, attendo con ansia la prossima primavera.

En un mois et demi cet article n'a pas eu de succès mais surtout il se décompose rapidement. Les planches en bois s'écartent et le toit se detache déjà.

Leider kann ich das Produkt nicht bewerten da es einem Nachbarn (ohne Namensangabe) übergeben wurde. Ich wohne in einem 11 Familienhaus und laufe von Wohnung zu Wohnung, treffe aber kaum einen Nachbarn an. Toller Service. Habe am Abend endlich den genannten Nachbarn angetroffen und das Insektenhotel erhalten. Für den Preis ist es ein Schnäppchen. Habe nur 2 Bambusröhren mit einem Bohrer nachgearbeitet. Ansonsten sieht es gut aus und ist durch seine Größe leicht überall anzubringen. Macht einen wertigen Eindruck.

hat sich leider nicht gelohnt. Das Hotel ist winzig, ok, die Maße stehen dabei, aber ich hatte es mir größer vorgestellt. Die Verarbeitung ist so lala...ich musste alle ins Holz gebohrten Löcher nacharbeiten, auch die Röhren musste ich nachfeilen. Leider ist das Hotel trotzdem noch leer - vielleicht ändert sich das noch. Negativ finde ich auch die extrem lange Lieferzeit von über 3 Wochen. Alles in allem würde ich das Bienenhotel nicht empfehlen.
