Ok, I have a 20 week old standard labradoodle, so quite a large lass. We bought the medium having looked at the manufacturer's description and guidance on size. It's HUGE. That's absolutely NOT a problem - we loved the size. Good value for money, we thought. And it's very strong and durable. The main problem, where my dog is concerned, is that it rocks, slides, and tumbles every which way when she tries to settle down to chew it. It doesn't keep still long enough - and she gives up very soon. She prefers to chew the legs of our wooden chair as they remain in place and not try to escape. And I wonder if it might be too hard for her still - it is really seriously very hard. She's quite a chewer and polishes off rice bones in a matter of minutes, gnaws through the legs of our chairs (one has to go soon or it will collapse one day) So she has roughen out the surface but not really a dent - that could be a good thing from one point of view - it sure is durable! Hence the three stars as it doesn't seem to interest my dog that much. Even with the bacon flavour it supposedly possesses - I can't tell and I'm not about to do a taste test myself. Update - puppy is now suddenly showing signs of liking this! She's managed to hold it in place by pressing her paws down onto it, and pushing it against a wall - and she will gnaw at it for a good 10 mins or so.

Purchased a few of these Benebone dog chew toys in the past and my dog loves them. I wouldn’t say they are indestructible but does take my dog a long time to wear it down. Despite having a small dog, he can be an aggressive chewer and Benebone chew toys are one of the chew toys we always fall back on. I feel they are well worth the money which keeps my dog entertained for hours. I have never felt worried about my dog choking. I purchased the bacon flavoured wishbone this time and my dog seems to really enjoy it. The wishbone is curved for a paw-friendly grip so your dog can grab it and get a good chew going (dogs don’t have thumbs) Definitely not suitable for puppies but perfect for adult or mature dogs.

Golden Retriever.. this lasted him awhile. Did get some sharp bits though. I stick to coffee wood now. Seems less sharp

The bone itself is sturdy and my dog enjoys chewing it. However, after use it releases a very unpleasant smell, similar to a faecal odour, especially once it gets wet with saliva and dries again. Unlike other dog chews I’ve bought before, this one requires washing after almost every use to keep the smell under control, which is quite inconvenient. Might be fine for people who don’t mind frequent cleaning, but worth knowing before buying.

Looks expensive at first glance, but hang on…. I have a 2 year old English Bull Terrier that destroys absolutely every toy or chew in a matter of minutes. He once destroyed an unbreakable toy from Pets at Home in under 10 minutes ( they did refund me to be fair…) I gave this to him a few hours ago and he is in heaven. He’s hardly left it alone in 4 hours and as yet hasn’t managed to make a mark in it yet!! Absolutely delighted. As is he.

OK but not as tough as advertised. My little 10kg 1 year old darling chewed bits off this within 30 minutes. She loves it, but it will have to be binned sooner than i thought. A yak chew lasts slightly longer, is edible and cheaper.

Really impressed with the Benebone Fishbone chew toy. My cockapoo absolutely enjoys it and it has quickly become one of his favorite toys. The shape makes it easy for him to hold and chew comfortably, and it keeps him occupied for long periods, which is great for an energetic dog. The durability is excellent—it holds up very well even with regular chewing, and doesn’t fall apart like many other toys we’ve tried. The real fish flavor also seems to keep his interest much longer than standard chew toys. Overall, a high-quality, sturdy chew toy that’s perfect for strong chewers and definitely worth it for keeping dogs entertained.

My boxer LOVES this chew toy she's had it for a while now and it's one of her favorite go to toys. Will buy again but we still have a while before that happens even as much as she chews it!

La nuova arrivata in casa, che ha poco più di 5 mesi, al momento è nella fase "Hannibal Lechter"... Cerca di rosicchiare qualsiasi cosa che trova. Nonostante abbia decine di giochini continua a preferire i legnetti del caminetto, purtroppo sporcano e vengono facilmente mangiati, ero alla ricerca di un surrogato ed ho trovato quest'"osso". Ne ho presi due, uno al bacon ed uno al pesce. Appena gliel’ho dato, ha iniziato ad annusarlo con entusiasmo, penso che il profumo (gusto pesce) gli abbia fatto scattare subito la scintilla. E poi ha iniziato a masticarlo con il suo solito impegno da "distruttrice professionista"… ma l’osso ha tenuto botta! La recensione la faccio dopo solo un giorno, passato alternando i due... Si vedono i segni dei denti, certo, ma niente pezzi rotti, niente briciole in giro, e soprattutto nessun rischio di ingestione, che era la mia preoccupazione più grande. È davvero resistente, ma non troppo duro da scoraggiare il cane. È come se riuscisse a trovare un equilibrio perfetto tra durezza e masticabilità. Non puzza, nonostante sia al gusto pesce (o bacon), odore non si sente neanche annusandolo. Il design a lisca di pesce è geniale: non solo è carino, ma ha delle curve che rendono facile per il cane tenerlo fermo con le zampe mentre lo rosicchia. Un piccolo aneddoto: la prima sera che l’ha avuto, è rimasta così concentrata a masticarlo che si è addormentata con la testa sopra. Una scena tenerissima. 🐶💤 L’unico appunto è di scegliere la taglia giusta: io ho preso la misura media e per il mio cane va benone (nelle foto c'è Pandora, la cucciola di 5 mesi di circa 15kg e Cassandra 8 anni e 26kg), ma se avete un molossoide o un cane di taglia molto grande, valutate quella più grande. In sintesi: finalmente un giocattolo per masticatori seriali che non finisce nella spazzatura dopo 10 minuti. Il mio cane lo adora, io mi sento più tranquillo… e l’arredamento di casa ringrazia anche lui. 😄 Super consigliato!

Mio cane ha masticato tanto ma i pezzi li ha mangiato. Certo che c'è scritto non tossico ma ci sono altri prodotti più naturali
