It’s not just a pretty face. It has the best capacity at 1.7 L. It boils no faster than my old kettle, but doesn’t take long. To fill it with water you have to remove the lid, which I wasn’t too sure about but now I find it easy. With the temperature dial at the front you can see at a glance how close it is to boiling or gauge when it is ready at a lower temp for tea. Lastly, the color is a beautiful glossy red. It adds a nice pop of color to my kitchen. It’s a happy color!

Great looking kettle well built very stylish, but with a flaw in its design. If you refill the kettle right after you empty the boiling water, as I often do, the placement of the handle directly over the open top of the kettle will cause steam to burn your hand. This was purchased to replace a kettle that I adored that had its handle on the side, which, of course never had this problem. That’s about the only flaw I can find in it though so if you’re willing to wait for it to cool down before you refill it, this is a great choice.

Having bought and trashed many disappointing kettles I love this one. The temperature gauge and water fill ladder are both easy to read. Most importantly it boils water for tea pretty quickly and has a good spout for pouring. For those that care it looks pretty good too.

Stopped working after 10 months. Disappointed. Had a knockoff brand from amazon with a temperature dial like this that we used for years and replaced because it started to look old. We bought the matching black toaster and electric teapot. Now I don’t want another Haden but need something that matches the black and gold with a temperature dial.

It is pretty, and I love having the temperature sensor. It heats water quickly. I don’t like how heavy it is. It’s awkward to pour and wouldn’t be good for older people. It is also difficult to pour water in the small opening in the top with the handle in the way. I spill every time.

Works great and looks great. My husband is into the whole steam punk industrial look. Since he does say the kitchen in my domain he doesn't try to influence me on design. I feel like the house is ours not just mine so I try to include his interests anyway I can without over stepping my personal designs. The electric tea pot suits just that idea. It's not to masculine or feminine. As far as functionality it works great. I have little to complain about. It heats up quickly, worth the cost and easy to use and clean. One complaint the top of the handle is plastic while most is metal. Doesn't change the structure much. I'd just prefer it all to be metal.

Amazon informs me that we bought this item back in Feb 2021. 5 years later it is still going strong. I will admit we initially bought it because it was Stainless Steel (not plastic) and red. it was the Covid era and we wanted something bright to cheer us up. At least that is our story for why we have a red car, red mixer, red blender and red kettle. It works great. I don't think it is particularity fast but that isn't an issue for us. I initially thought the temperature dial was a useless gimmick but my wife uses it to make Jasmine tea which requires a lower temp than regular black tea. I was also worried about the plastic coating on the flexible metal handle. After a couple of months of use I noticed some a tiny hairline crack in the top of the plastic but this never developed into anything more than a hairline surface defect. I would buy it again.... but I don't need to as ours continues to work great.

Love how fast it boils water. So much better than a stove kettle. Love the old style look. Would love to be able to buy the 4 slice toaster in the same sage green colour

The kettle looks great and love the styling of copper and black. Upon first use, I noticed the kettle takes longer to heat to a full boil, but the temperature reading helps to know when to take off for certain tea temperatures. I was a little worried that the kettle takes longer to boil for the coffee press, BUT, I was impressed how long the water stays hot in the kettle afterwards! You could drink a cup and come back for your second cup and the water is still hot! Love this. Kettle is well made, light and sits on the base easily, so after my second press this morning, I’m loving this kettle even more. Definitely going to buy more of these Haden black/copper series appliances to update the kitchen!
