Would these work to reduce disturbing bass to floors below when put under a subwoofer?

They might help on a hard floor surface but no use on carpets. I played with the idea of using the large ones under my sub but as it is a home cinema sub rather than a hi fi sub and the sound is not directional I doubt it would make much difference.

I have a speaker on a glass tv unit. Will this stop the vibration off the glass?

It would be better to search for some better quality acoustic isolators. I have used these in a wooden enclosure for a CD player, amp, tuner, and Tape deck for that purpose they work fine. on the glass I'm not sure you will eradicate all vibration of a speaker.

Will these prevent a needle from slipping on my turntable? I have the weight set at its ideal (2.4) but still jumps if I walk around whilst playing.

No,you have a wobbly floor you need to isolate the deck from the floor a wall mounted isolation shelf is what you need, gel isolation pads are good at reducing low levels of vibration and feedback only.cheers.

Does it make a difference which way up you use the pads?

No in my opinion it never made any difgrence st all, but if you are able to use 3 insted of four on your component it may well make a difference two at the front of your componant and one at the rear, sometimes you may need to take the original legs off the componant to fit the isolation pads.
