Used in Florida for whatsapp calls and general info and maps. Use qr code on pack put in details and start date for use abroad, mine was for USA and make a call from your phone before you leave to register the sim. Linked up immediately we landed in Florida and never failed. Money well spent.

Had to ring as i had an issue setting sim up, my fault! Staff were great, so patient and walked me thru the set up. I made one call in UK prior to leaving country and then used it in USA from time i landed, worked and is still working great. Will purchase again. Great value.

Very tricky to activate. Even though it has "3" printed on it, you must sign up with a website called Speakeasy, then you get an activation email branded as Love2surf (no mention of Speakeasy or 3). You then must make a phone call or send a text within the uk, before you can then activate foreign roaming. They then send you a welcome email, inviting you to download the My3 app (to monitor data usage, etc) - but impossible to sign in to My3 because 3 will only accept accounts with 07.. numbers, but Speakeasy numbers start 08... Eventually got it working, and data worked in uk. Then we flew to Singapore. Data worked ok here for 1 day, then we went to Malaysia, and it worked for 1 day. Then it stopped working. Every attempt to turn on data roaming brought up a dialog saying I had to log in to "three.co.uk", which was not possible. Tried everything as described in help, resetting network, removing / inserting SIM card, rebooting etc.. but data functionality was impossible. Finally bought a local SIM with 50Gb of roaming for $15 (£9 approx) which worked perfectly across Asia.

Brought the SIM to use while in the USA. Inserted the SIM which provided the number via a welcome text from 3. Scanned the QR code on the package and Followed the activation instructions. Up and running within 30mins from insertion into my phone. Yet to see if it works in the USA, but is fine in the UK.

It probably deserves 4.5 stars, but that's not possible to give. Almost 5 stars except for one issue. Set up was fine and easy. It didn't activate exactly when I asked, but customer service was very responsive and helpful, even outside the hours they advertise. The packaging and emails say you need to make a UK phone call after activation, but that wasn't the case, confirmed by the seller. I needed to restart the phone for the data to work, that wasn't mentioned by the seller, but I've had similar before so knew what to do. It worked flawlessly in Singapore and Australia. The only slight issue was in Indonesia. The first day the local network must have been down as 4g was showing on the phone, but nothing worked. That wasn't the sellers fault obviously, but the sim only allowed you to connect to one network in Indonesia and that was the one that was down on that day. If I could have connected to an alternative it would have got 5 stars. Same at another island in Indonesia, only one network was available and it was one the sim wasn't allowed to connect to. Overall though, when the network was available it worked absolutely fine. I often managed to connect when 10-15 miles off shore as a bonus. Overall absolutely worth the money and great customer service too

I struggled to set up initially, which was absolutely user error. There is a giant QR code on the front of the sim that walks you through easy set up. I did ring for help and got a call back almost instantly from a very friendly chap who was ready to offer assistance, but as I said, it was so simple I just didn’t notice the activate sticker on the front of the sim. I already have a three account and have linked the sim so I’m hopeful the data coverage will be the same as mine contract one

Easy to set up as long as you follow the instructions on the QR code not the Three ones inside. It was registered in minutes & showed my balance correctly. I made a call in the uk before I left to activate the roaming. My one bugbare was that in the USA I couldn’t use it to make calls which was my whole point of getting them! For any US calls you have to add credit so what’s the point?! I had to use the hotel phone to make & confirm bookings which was not great when trying to go out early in the day. I also had a spoof while I was out there which meant someone accessed my sim & sent texts to another No in my phone. It was scary & I didn’t know what to do. Tried to call/chat to Three but was impossible from US even using the international No they provide. Wouldn’t use again.
