I have bought it, found out it comes with a European charger so I buy a European adapter and it doesn't fit, why?

Our power toothbrushes are fitted with a UK 2-pin plugs. If you do not have a shaver socket in your bathroom you can use a 2 to 3-pin conversion plug, to allow the toothbrush to be used in conventional 3-pin sockets elsewhere in the house. We strongly recommend you use a conversion plug that bears British Standards certification (BS 1363-5:2008). Note that a converter plug is not the same as a travel adapter. Your Oral-B Team

Does this one come with an additional whitening mode over the pro 2 2500? Is it worth buying this one over the pro 2 2500? Thanks

Yes as the others say. The 2000 series used to have 3 settings but I suppose that this is progress. I only use the 3rd (cleaning) setting when using the floss head. It reminds me of older dentists' heavy grinder drills. I nearly went for 2500 with two settings because I prefer the style and battery symbols but the version on the 3000 does the job okay and the 3-speed option is handy. 3000 smooth design is slippy but so is 2500. People should lightly hold at the bottom.

why do oral b toothbrushes not use USB to charge if thats been the trend for the last 5 years?

It's because of bathroom plugs. The end needs to be safe for use in these plugs and it keeps it waterproof
