Excellent "decaf" coffee. Works well with our Nespresso Citiz. Wish they had a "Lungo" version. I like Latte's, so I heat the milk (1/3 vol) in the microwave (30-sec) then use two capsules in the Citiz - one with the Lungo button and then one with the espresso button (2/3 vol). Makes the perfect latte.

A wonderful way to reduce my caffeine intake. I have 310mg of caffeine before work with my double espresso wake-up and my 16oz brewed coffee travel mug for the commute. I switched to decaf options throughout the day and I now feel better having made the switch. I rotate through four decaffeinated Nespresso Original Pods: this Lavazza Espresso Maestro Decaf (DEK) (7/13), Peet's Decaffeinato Ristretto Espresso (9/13), L'OR Ristretto Decaffeinato Espresso (9/13) and Target Good & Gather Signature Decaffeinated Lentando Espresso (8/13). I enjoy this melody that offer excellent flavor, aroma and crema without the bitterness and acidity. All work well in my Nespresso CitiZ and are recyclable through the Peet's recycle system. I have been able to buy the Lavazza, Peet's and L'OR capsules in larger quantities and subscription specials on Amazon for a better value. This is a review of a melody of different decaffeinated flavors that I recommend for an enjoyable reduced caffeine intake.

This is really good coffee! You would never know it's decaffeinated. The only issue I have is with the capsules and I hope Lavazza fixes this problem. Sometimes the capsules crush in the machine causing it to struggle while dispensing. This causes some of the coffee to back up into the drip tray, so you don't get the right amount in your cup. Other times it can come out a bit watery. Not every time but sometimes. I never have this problem with the Nespresso brand pods. The 40 ml espresso gives the best flavor and crema, and the 110 ml Lungo tastes like a nice cup of regular coffee. They are definitely worth buying it but be forewarned.

Works on Nespresso machine. Good taste for decaf. Pricey but most pods are.

We have a L’or coffee machine that uses the Nespresso coffee pots. It becomes more expensive, we have decided to try different brands. We purchased the Lavazza coffee pod in both regular and decaf, and found them to be rich and delicious. Well worth the price, which is less expensive than other choices. Give these coffee pods a try to see what you think.

Many pods won't work. The ones which function produce no crema and weakly flavored coffee. I wonder if the malfunctioning pods will damage my machine as it struggles to force water through them.

We love Lavazza Italian espresso! The quality is terrific, just as good if not better than Nespresso. The decaf is pretty strong and works well combined with a non-decaf Lavazza pod, especially a stronger/darker choice. But also makes a great homemade latte with 2 of the decaf pods. It's also a good espresso on its own. They have a nice creamy foam on top like all other Lavazza espresso pods/capsules. These work great in our Nespresso machine, we've never had any problems. Only complaint is it will say it's 'Prime 1 day' or 'next day' delivery... but I promise you ...IT'S NOT! EVER. I've ordered these for over a year, almost every 3 weeks and they always come via UPS. And it's aaaalways a minimum 4-5 day wait, sometimes up to 7 days. And UPS often damages the box, so a few pods are typically unusable (but when delivered via standard USPS, never any issues with damage). Anyway, just be aware when ordering them that you will not receive them as quickly as promised!!

I've tried almost every Original Nespresso Decaf pod on the market and these pods taste amazing. I drink my coffee black most days and these pods taste more expensive than they really are. They have floral and fruity notes that are missing in most other brands. They do not hold up great with syrups or milks in my opinion, but again I like my coffee black. I prefer a darker roast versus the Lavazza's medium roast for at home lattes. The biggest problem I have with these pods and why I gave it a 3 star is because they are very inconsistent in how much coffee they make. I'm writing this review after using up all the pods in the set. My Nespresso struggles to push water through the grounds and I have had to throw out 5-6 pods because the water will not go through. Inspecting the pod, it was pierced properly but maybe it was packed so tight that it did not allow for water flow. When they do work, oftentimes it will sputter out only half a shot. The stream of coffee is very slow and very small compared to other pods I've tried. At best, I only get about 3/4 shot each time. That being said, the coffee tastes very concentrated and is tasty so I just add water to get the volume I'm looking for. It sucks that I have to use multiple pods to get the same volume that I get with other pods, but it's still cheaper than buying a coffee.

I have been buying different Lavazza Nespresso compatible capsules and all of them were of high quality and tasted good. However, this Decaffeinated coffee is terrible. It is weak & watery and tastes like dripolator coffee.

Very weak and watery so probably for folks that prefer something very mild
