Kutzall makes the best carving burrs. Period. As far as I am concerned, these are the best burrs I have ever found. They are very sharp, highly durable, very easy to control, and make clean cuts even at low speeds. They are more expensive than other power carving burrs because they are high quality and are worth every penny.

I've been watching a lot of power carving videos by Jordy Johnson, Matt Carves, and others with absolute envy for the quality of their carvings compared to what I was able to do with the "economy" burrs in my price range. When I finally got a chance to purchase this set for myself, I jumped at the opportunity. Delivery was fast and I practically ripped the package open to start carving like the pros! But then instead I spent the next 15 minutes cleaning adhesive from the mandrels, lol! (I assume Kutzall does this to prevent them being damaged in shipment - but please put it in the package instructions to clean before use) The burrs worked exactly as expected after preparation, turning a carving I'd been working on for 3 weeks into a 1 hour project. The ONLY issue I have is determining what the rotary wheel is for??? I searched high & low to find a video of one in use, but every link that said wheel was for Kutzall's shaping discs.

They are great for woodworking projects. I like the different shapes. I use them all the time.

Wish I would have gotten these a long time ago.

I’m new to power carving and was struggling with carbide fluted bits. These make fast work of basswood and leave a relatively smooth finish in harder woods like walnut and sapele. Am going to try the standard coarseness next.

Byl to dárek, ale táta byl nadšen. hlavné oceńuji mnohem levnéjší poštovné než originál od výrobcu. Zatiaě vyzerajú kvalitne ale nemáme ich ešte odskúšané.
