my legs were fine. The material is really good when used basically ...
3 stars = "It's OK" sums it up really. My initial reaction was that I would have to send it back as it was totally ineffective - I'd attached it to the bike and me as directed and rode off - it immediately lifted and filled with [cold] air and became a bit of a liability. I think this is in part because I ride a Burgman, and unlike other smaller scooters, the fuel tank is on the floor between your feet, which means the Leg Cover has to go up-and-over in a way that it wouldn't have to normally. This said, I played around with it a bit and realised that if I slide the back parts under me so I hold it on by sitting on it, it does actually stay in place and is effective. Even on a very chilly morning, without the need for my winter bike trousers, my legs were fine. The material is really good when used basically like a blanket. A shortcoming of this method is that it slides on from under you when you need to put your foot down and needs a lot of adjustment. I'm thinking that with some strategically placed velcro strips it would be much better. In all, it's less than half the price of a Leg Cover that goes on the bike rather than you, but I've not used one of them so I can't tell you if they are twice as good. I suspect both have limitations. In summary; as long as you are prepared to make adjustments, it works well. If you're not, then it's worse than useless.

Warm, cosy and safe
I purchased this to use on my Yamaha Cygnus X 125. I've had it about a month and have used it in the wind, rain, cold and even on pleasant days. It just feels better to cover my legs as they were getting so cold even with thermal leggings on under my jeans. My knees were particularly exposed and when I had finished my ride they would hurt. This doesn't help when you have fibromyalgia. So this very warm and quite cosy leg cover has done the trick. It's like riding around with a blanket on. It is attached to the bike using velcro which has so far stayed on. The clips that tie around the waist and if you like, the neck, using the bib, are very easy to handle even with thick biking gloves on. They Un - clip with a slight tug. This is also a safety feature. When not in use there is a waterproof seat cover which is very useful at times. The only drawback is that to prevent too much flapping and hitting my legs at higher speeds, I have to tuck the sides under my bum. I guess this makes it more cosy and prevents more cold from getting to my legs but I feel a bit daft when I have to do that in public. Otherwise this is a nifty leg cover, and being universal fit I know I can keep using it if I change my scooter. Also this can act a bit like a sail on a boat when it's windy so you may be moved around more than usual on the road in some weathers. Ride safe :)**update, also works fine on Suzuki Burgman 125, if not better as there is less flapping around in the wind.**

Great leg cover
Great leg cover, nicely quilted and easy to fasten. Unfortunately it didn't fit very well on my partners Piaggio Vespa so returned it. The returns process was very quick and the refund made swiftly!
