ANTS! The weather got hot and the ants decided it was time to invade, and especially go after the cat food. These are a perfect solution. I can now put the food bowls on their stand and place inside a small pyrex pan filled with water. Moat keeps out the ants and the elevation makes it easy for cats to still eat while not having to put their paws in water. they are the perfect size to hold a small can of cat food (I large can would probably fit fine). They are sturdier than I expected, so even my boy that likes to push his food around on the plate had no issues with it sliding around or falling over. I was waiting to see if they liked them, but now convinced this will be our "new feeding system" (cheaper and easier to clean than the microchip automatic feeders we previously had for when two cats were on different prescription diets). I see they have extra bowls, so going to get a few sets and we are good to go!

I was very impressed with these stainless steel pet bowls! They are a nice size and the steel is a very nice weight and quality. My cat had no problem eating and drinking from it immediately!

I'm quite pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this set of two feeding bowls and stands. My two cats had been quite messy eaters, scattering their wet food and kibble around, and once or twice vomiting up their food soon after eating. I thought perhaps raising their feeding bowls would help. You get a 6" wide, somewhat shallow (1 1/4" deep) stainless steel feeding bowl and an accompanying metal stand. You can purchase either a single bowl/stand, or two bowls/stands. The bowl is made of stainless steel and is quite sturdily made. The stand is constructed of "metal" wire, and it too is sturdy. The bowl fits into the stand quite well and there is no rocking or tipping or knocking over of the dish on the stand. Everything is admirably secure. The stands are the perfect height for a cat to eat or drink comfortably without having to stretch their necks or bend down. At first my cats were mystified by the new, raised food dishes, staring at them from a safe distance as if they were some perverse trick. It took about 15 minutes of gentle convincing, but the cats eventually embraced the new servers as a welcome benefit. These new stands were so successful, I purchased a single bowl/stand to hold water. NOTE: The vendor also sells additional dishes without the stands. It's always good to have extra clean dishes available while others are in the dishwasher or sink. A standard, deep aluminum food dish will not fit into these stands.

Very good quality items. The elevated bowl stands are the right height. The only complaint is the bowls sometimes “clank” against the stands when my cats are eating from them. Maybe in the future they could apply rubber “bumpers” on the circular parts of the stands.

These were a great investment. I even went back and bought more bowls so there is constantly a clean set while others are in the being washed. We change the bowls every day. The quality is great and they hold up to a good hand-scrubbing or a run through the dishwasher. Great for dry or wet cat food. If wet food particles sit and gets dry, a short soak with warm water gets these practically spotless. Just a little dish soap and a sponge gets the bacteria off. The height is perfect for my 4-months-old and 1-year-old kitties. These are not thin, cheap bowls. They are sturdy and have a clean look to them. I’m glad I got steel for my cats, as it is better for their health.

Very well made and my cat took to it right away. Not sure if it makes a difference to her, but to me it looks much more comfortable for her neck and shoulders than having to bend to the floor with a regular dish. Love the stainless steel too, don't need to worry about breakage like with ceramic dishes. Great buy!
