It took a lot of time and concentration in finishing the book. Many a times we got exhausted and thought to drop the idea of writing this but at last with the blessings and continuous support of our family members and colleagues boosted us in sending this to the press and finally in your hands. We were bit relaxed after publishing it as the only drug index available in the field having latest information and various unique feature like "Budding Vet Corner", has separate chapters for Livestock, poultry, pet, equine etc. The book got overwhelming response of readers from all over the country and we were bit pleased and surprised to see our book in libraries of different veterinary institutes in the country during our visit their which boosted us and gave a challenge to get the regularly updated editions of book to our readers. It made us more enthusiastic to prepare revised edition looking towards the non-availability of any other such book or compilation. We started planning in year 2019 for this and were assured our publisher print it in 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic and family reasons and other institutional assignments we could not make it possible to present latest edition of AVIDEX to our readers despite of continuous inquiry about the next edition of book. It took long exhausting days and nights editing, phone calls and emails to pharmaceutical companies for latest information
