I do quite a lot of outdoor sports, some when it's quite cold. I bought this for a specific use, blokarting, which is a form of sailing on land. I used it in earnest for the first time today, and I was stunned at how well it worked, in conjunction with some good ski goggles. Sailing at 33mph in 8C in a howling gale and no wind was getting through at all, my head was warm and it felt very comfortable and unobtrusive.The design is good, it's a great fit, though for me the rear zip doesn't have a function, I have a wide head but it fits over easily enough without resorting to unzipping. The material has a decent amount of give yet hugs the head well.This will get a lot of use, and now forms an essential part of my blokarting kit. I rate this very highly indeed.

I bought this for riding on my motorbike during unfavorable weather so I specifically wanted something warm, waterproof and would provide protection to my neck from chilly winds. The Rotto balaclava is made from different materials that allow me and my head to breathe, but with a neck front that is virtually impervious to air providing good frontal neck protection from chilly winds. The only small downside is the mask insert that can make it more difficult to breathe after wearing it for a while, but you don't have to use the insert and then it's fine.The balaclava is also impervious to water which just runs of it and was a comfortable fit for my head, which is larger than average. The different materials that make up the balaclava are also very well sewn together with high quality stitching. Overall I found the Rotto balaclava to be well designed, good quality, waterproof and comfortable.

This thing is blooming Fanatic. It fits well, it's practical & can be worn in a number of different ways. I bought it for use on a RHIB & it works so well. My face was warm & any splashes were shrugged off. It is brilliantly windproof. For me this thing is worth its weight in gold.

Bought this waterproof balaclava for outdoor walk and also I am hoping to use for my Himalayan adventure.The balaclava is like wearing over your head. I covers your head, ears and neck area well keeping the eyes and nose exposed. There is a small filter provided which you can slide in the filter pocket in the nose section helping with the clean air. The balaclava comes with a zip allowing greater comfort. You can also layer up inside in the extreme cold weather providing as a thermal wear. With regards to size I would say it will fit an average and large size head but could potentially be a bit loose for a small size head. There is also a thin lining of reflective fabric for high visibility. I got this for my son who is a delivery driver and where cold weather is coming I thought this be great, he told me it was lovely and warm but after having it on for hour with motorbike helmet on it was push into his temples and giving him a headache so had to take it off

Achetée en avance de phase sur l'hiver pour remplacer mon ancienne cagoule qui avait fait son temps, je ne suis pas déçu. J'ai en effet eu l'occasion de l'essayer lors de deux sorties moto nocturnes, dont une avec 4 degrés au plus bas de la nuit. Le résultat est concluant : je n'ai pas senti le froid du tout, même sans tour de cou supplémentaire.La nuque aussi est parfaitement protégée des retours.J'ai pris la version avec la fermeture éclair (qui semble étanche qui plus est car elle est bien doublée) et c'est un gros plus : elle permet d'élargie la cagoule pour l'enfiler et la retirer sans s'arracher les cheveux ni la barbe. La fermeture se manipule très facilement d'une main et en aveugle.Bref, un excellent produit pour le prix, vivement cet hiver que je puisse la pousser dans ses derniers retranchements lors des températures négatives :)

Super, couvre bien la tête et le cou.Très douce, chaude mais aucun soucis pour respirer grâce à l'avant préformé.

Passamontagna ben realizzato, caldo e confortevole, ideale per moto e attività all’aperto in condizioni fredde. Protegge efficacemente da vento e freddo mantenendo una buona traspirabilità. Vestibilità comoda sotto il casco e materiali di buona qualità. Ottimo per il prezzo, consigliato per uso invernale.

Ich habe die Maske für mich bestellt, um auch im Winter Fahrradfahren zu können. Hier habe ich mich für die Version mit dem Reissverschluss entschieden. Die Maske kam auch schon am nächsten Tag an. Da sie leicht nach Kunststoff roch, habe ich sie erst einmal mit 40 Grad gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich sie dann bei einer ersten Ausfahrt ausprobiert. Hier hatten wir ca. 7 Grad und ich war auf den Wärmeeffekt gespannt. Die Maske ließ sich leicht überziehen und mit dem Reissverschluss hinten schließen. Bei der Fahrt merkte ich an den bedeckten Stellen gar nichts von dem Wind, sie hielt wunderbar warm und ließ sich angenehm tragen. Wärmeleistung optimal und war ein keiner Stelle unangenehm. Auch mein Helm passt noch wunderbar.
