Just purchased our 4th Yawbay mug. The large one easily holds the 12 oz Kuerig pour and cream. Really love that you can sip from anywhere around the lid without having to line up the opening. That is my husband's favorite feature and hard to find. Lids screw on and are super secure. With the center button pushed into the closed position, NO LEAKING! We have had 3 of these for over a year and the Yawbay thermals are our favorites. We each use them daily for our drive to work. They really hold the heat so watch out for those first couple sips. Lids separate easily for washing. We use a handle brush to clean the cup itself as they are narrower. We have other name brand thermal "mugs" but these Yawbay seal the best for sure and fit easily into the car cup holders. So the other brands, including the "y" and "s" just sit in the cupboard. We really like this shape as they are easy to hold. Great purchase and reasonably priced especially since you won't have to keep buying looking for the perfect thermal mug. Great gift!

I love this mug. The lid functions exactly how you expect it to, its spill proof when closed and 360 degrees drinkable when open. The grip is great too and the quality is excellent. My coffee stays warm in it for at least 2 hours. The mug looks pretty good too.

It keeps my hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Having the lid open all the way around is nice. It's simple/easy to take apart to be washed, and the grippy part is very pretty. The mug fits in all if my vehicles cup holders. The push button is a little noisy so I won't use it during hunting season. It's was worth the price.

I really like this travel tumbler. It’s genuinely leak-proof based on my testing so far, which already puts it ahead of a lot of others I’ve tried. The lid design is very clever. There’s a push button on top that opens the cup so you can drink from any part of the rim, which makes one-handed use really easy. No fumbling around trying to find the right side while driving or multitasking. I also appreciate that the lid unscrews into two pieces, making it much easier to clean thoroughly. The silicone sleeve is a nice deep purple, which I love, but I could do without the “coffee” design printed on it. I don’t drink coffee due to allergies, so it would be fun to see other options like “Tea,” “Hot Chocolate,” or even something playful like "Tears of My Enemies." A simple textured grip would also work just as well. That said, it’s not a deal breaker, especially since I picked this up on sale. Overall, a well-designed and functional travel tumbler that I’m happy to keep using.

Edit update: Some reviews say this cup does not keep drink temp hot over time. I have the 12oz, and I do notice the drop in temp, but I'm someone who usually finishes my hot drink in less than 1-2 hours. Or with tea, I dont mind room temp. I did 4 hr test, and in a 3/4 filled cup the temp dropped around 60 degrees, so it was still warm, but not hot. I would recommend getting the larger cup if keeping hot drinks all day is more of your concern. The more liquid, the more hot temp can be maintained for longer. In the smaller cup, less liquid will cool off faster. ----------------------- I really appreciate this travel mug, especially for drinking hot drinks. the 360 lid is the closest to sipping hot drink from a regular cup, with controlled flow. I don't like drinking hot liquids out of small holes, or if they're pressurized (to prevent any leaking) or holding onto a button to drink. The lid is made of 2 parts, you twist the inside so that it's really easy to clean and rinse out the lid. I have only recently seen the part that pushes up and down against the lid can trap a lot of "gunk" so you need to clean in between there with a small straw brush, gasket needs to also be removed. Like another reviewer, I received my Black 12oz mug in a brown box, with no Yawbay branding. There were no instructions. The company name was not on the mug (which I actually preferred). Guessing that I got a "white brand" mug. So that's a little suspect, but the actual mug is a great buy. The 360 lid is leakproof, easy to clean, and allows for natural easy drinking, especially for hot drinks.

I’m very happy with this cup. It feels comfortable and secure in my hand, and the textured sleeve provides a good grip. The design is practical, sturdy, and easy to use every day. It also looks stylish and feels well made. Overall, it has been a great purchase and I would definitely recommend it.

Just as it states in the headline, everything that was advertised about this mug is true. I'm one of these people that researches any little thing I buy...to death. In fact it took me a week to finally decide on this one and I had also ordered two of the other mugs that were also rated at the top of the heap for all three features. They were the Yawboy, the Yeti and the Stanly Transit Bottle, and they all put the Contigo I had for years to shame in the heat retention test. (It was however also leak proof). I tested all three at the same time under the same conditions to ensure to be comparing apples to apples as they say. I boiled water and filled each pre-warmed mug to 3/4 full and immediately sealed them. Water went in at approximately 206 degrees. Then turned them upside down, shook them to test for leaks. Neither leaked at all. I then checked and compared the temperature at 5 hours and at10 hours. The 5hr test was to see if the liquid in each would stay hot...not warm...hot, for at least 5hrs since I rarely take even that long to finfish my coffee/tea, but with there still being occasions when I don't until 6 or 8hrs later I want it to at least still be decently warm and all three were. So the results were that only the Stanly beat the Yawboy and the Yeti at the heat test by only 5 degrees at the final 10 hour mark. They were all three still about neck in neck at the 5hr mark when I checked with the instant thermometer but again with the Stanly about 2 degrees hotter.. To me, negligible. The Stanly was to small in diameter to even fit my car cup holder with the sleeve in, toppling in every turn and break, and it dents and chips way too easily too. The Yeti was to big even with the sleeve out. The Yawboy sat perfectly snug in the cup holder with the cup holder sleeve in and also has a rubber sleeve around the mug itself which offered notably better grip. As far as cleaning; the Stanly was way too narrow to get my dish wand into, so a problem there. The Yeti was ok but difficult to get the lid clean (the sealing twist lock lid) without a to-do, and the Yawboy easy as pie. All you do is unscrew the retention piece in the top of the lid and soap it up rinse it and let it dry. I clean the Yawboy with hot soapy water in the sink right after I'm done or home, not in the dishwasher even though it is dishwasher safe. So far it has prevented it from retaining the after taste of the former liquid when switching, but in all fairness, I haven't had it all that long so we'll see how that part holds up In conclusion my opinion is that the Yawboy inched out the all around win and is also the cheapest of the three at only $19 for the17oz and a bit less for the 12oz!! I've had it a little over two weeks now and am still as impressed as when I first started using it...and I'm a very discerning buyer. Oh...and I've dropped the Yawboy 3 or 4 timed now and no actual dents....

I’m picky with cups. I don’t love using a straw, and the fact that the insulated straw cups still leak when tipped over. Also that my toddlers sipping from my cup can backwash down a straw or spout. And they (or myself) are constantly knocking over my water cup or dropping it. Stainless steel and insulation are must have features for me; and until recently I didn’t know that having a flat, leak proof, 360 sip lid is now a must that I cannot go back from. I’m 8 months pregnant and live in Arizona. I needed something portable to go to the store or church that I could throw into my purse and not worry about leaking or the ice melting. Ice cold water is also a must for me. I’m very happy with this cup BUT I really wish they made it in a larger version than just 17oz. It’s just not enough water to last me an hour or so when I’m out and about for errands, especially after filling up with ice first. Best cup I’ve had so far and checks all the boxes aside from size. I wish more companies would catch onto the 360/any angle sip lid. It’s easy to find these types of cups for toddlers/kids…. But adults like them too!! I don’t think anyone would want to go back to dealing with a straw, opening/closing a flip spout, or unscrewing/screwing back on a lid every time they need a drink; if they were to experience using a cup like this instead. For me, the feel of being able to chug freezing water from an open cup at my own pace is so much more enjoyable than sucking thru a straw. This cup is also easy to clean with minimal components, and 100% leak proof when the center thing is closed. Very happy with the value of this cup for the money. I love the bottom is silicone or something so it grips onto hard surfaces slightly so you can accidentally knock it off the counter/table as easily. And the rubber grip around the outside for your hand is very great design too. Please make this in a larger version!!

This is my second 360-degree drink anywhere around the lid coffee mug; the first one was another brand, which was also good, but I lost it, and I wanted a bigger one. I found this fancy purple embossed one from someone else who kindly left a comment. I have tested it this morning, I can fit 2 cups worth of xcoffee into it, and my coffee kept comfortably hot/ warm for 4 hours; it would go longer, but I like hot coffee. It doesn't leak when drinking, so I recommend this mug.

Great colour. Good capacity. Nice grip. Keeps things hot for a typical drinking period and longer. About 6-8 hours if untouched and full. I prefer a button on top style this was exactly what I wanted. Its easy to clean and does not leak. Being able to drink in any position is also nice. If I had one star to take away… it doesn’t keep things extremely hot like my other cup but is very close. I like my coffee to burn my tongue it’s that hot. Its taken a couple bounces off my driveway and is virtually unscathed. Overall. Would buy again but would prefer a free one shipped out to me cause I write honest and detailed reviews that reach the ever day person grinding it out for 10-12 hours a day. Its a great cup!
