I needed a auto feeder for our outdoor cat as we are traveling for a few days. We have had some in the past that the raccoons have gotten a hold of and destroyed so I wanted one with a flat top to weigh it down and prevent that. This one fit the bill and was priced right so i grabbed it. The instructions were clear and the setup was easy. I was able to program several feedings a day into it to ensure the cat gets food during the day as the raccoons will also take advantage of it at night. The hopper holds quite a bit of food, more than we need to add for the 2 days we are gone and the feeder is working as intended. I was able to weight it down on top with several bricks and there is no way a raccoon can drag it off now. I won't need it all the time but its nice to have the peace of mind when we are out of town and to know the cat is getting fed (As well as several stray cats in our area). So far its durable, easy to clean as the feeding tray pops off and the quantity of a meal is programmable so I can ensure the cat is fed without over feeding her or every animal within a mile. I have it undercover on a back porch so the weather won't affect it so I can't speak of outdoor durablilty yet but it seems to be solidly built. Im happy with the purchase and prefer this one over the way more expensive one I had in the past

Using the D cells it seems to work okay. Was easy to set up. Could have used slightly better settings instructions. The cat food is the right size for feeding. Wanted to test it using the manual method. Thought it didn’t work by the instructions the said. Seriously need to be more specific about using the two buttons up and down. By accident it worked perfectly by holding the up button continuously and pushing the down button intermittently for every serving size you want. Other than that it seems to be a good product and not skidding around here. Fits perfectly where I want it and cat is happy so far

This is a great feeder. High quality. Easy to program the portions and meal times. Works wonderfully! Looks great too! We love it! Great customer service from IMIPAW and quick response to customer questions. My rabbit chewed through the power cord and they were able to help me get a replacement cord.

Works very well! I like it and its easy to program ! Only bummer is when youre setting it up its beep is loud as hell lol like loud loud but other than that hold about 2/3 of a 5lb bag and stays good in it the lid easily comes off with a little twist ! Best auto cat feeder for an affordable price!

Works perfectly, as long as you use small bite cat food. I would spend the weekends at my boyfriend's an hour away and always have to have someone come feed the cats. No more. This is inexpensive and works as it should. Took a few minutes to set it up and it's been life-saving.

This product has been working consistently for a few months. I am using it plugged in (with battery backup). It also worked consistently with the battery (no issues with short-changing the cats on food). I think it uses a proper mechanical dispensing system, not one that relies on a rubber band, so dispensing seems to be quick and consistent. In the digital age, it would be lovely if there was a low level warning. The only think I don't really like is the very loud beep with every push of the buttons to adjust clock, time, meal sizes, etc. Otherwise it is easy to use. The instructions that came with it were helpful. The best benefits: the cats don't wake me up early anymore (unless I let it run out of food). I am using one feeder for three cats. It holds food for more than one week but I now make a habit of filling it weekly. When I am on holidays, this gives my cat sitter more flexibility on when she comes to check on the cats. Side note on battery only: years ago I used an automatic cat feeder that ONLY had a battery option and found it ran perfectly for months at a time before needing to change batteries, so I expect the same for this one.

Don't buy from this company if you feel there is any chance that the product might not work for you. THERE ARE NO RETURNS PERIOD!! I understand if the product has been used but not when it didn't work from the start. I bought 2 feeders so i got one feeder for the price of 2. This is an outright scam when you buy a product and then get nothing for your money. Amazon isn't any help either. Couldn't even talk with anyone about the issue at Amazon or Imipaw. Won't ever buy any products from Imipaw and will pass it along to others,

Exactly what I needed to help portion control my fat cat. She already knows the sound and runs to it when feeding time hits. I can go for a day or 2 and not worry about putting out extra food (that she will eat more then she needs of). Good quality, easy to program and program keeps even if you unplug it for a minute or if the power goes off - even without batteries.

Although I’ve only been using four and a half days. I have to say I’m quite impressed. The only thing I have found “wrong,” is it looses between 5-10 seconds per day. If you want the same exact feeding time every day then it would not be so good. I have had two messages with the seller, they told me to reset the time every now and then. That they strive to make their product better all the time. I have seen a few mention the clock not keeping accuracy. Personally I would not buy another of this brand. I received an instruction booklet plus a double sided instruction page. With both diagrams and words on one side then a chart showing portions and how much for one to six daily meals. So so easy. Very nice braided power cable and a sub power block. The food dish seems to be the perfect shape for a cat. Wider than it is long, so there is plenty of room for their whiskers. It seems fairly sturdy. The lid locks on. I have put a nice sized rock on top just incase. My cat has pulled over an eighteen pound bucket of food with his teeth. So this could be kids play. So far he doesn’t bother with it except to eat. It is easy to remove and clean the feeding dish. To clean the inside I have not checked it out as of yet. At a glance it seems the middle part might be difficult. I did get batteries for backup but as 4.5 days in, I can’t give an opinion. I am very glad there is such a thing. There is a battery metre on the front to show the life left in the batteries. Very very helpful. I have never owned an automatic feeder before so can’t compare. I would recommend trying this one. I did buy on sale and feel I have gotten my dollars worth.
