I used two sets around the bathroom, toilet area and shower for my wife recovering from post op trauma and needing temporary support assistance. We can remove them when she recovers and is stable in her feet again. Work very well on tiled surfaces, good suction and steady when gripped. The shower gave me a problem as they would not maintain a firm constant grip because the shower walls are not smooth, they is a very slight surface pattern which prevented constant suction. I overcame this by cleaning the suction area on the shower wall and filling the concave suction pad with a soft cream, actually Johnson's Baby Lotion, but don't tell anybody. Then hold the grips where you need them, press firmly and lock down. They have held for weeks now. The lotion managed to seal the surface and assists with the vacuum seal, works great. Highly recommended product.

Bought in September 24 I’m recovering from a motorbike accident broken hip and other leg injuries on crutches. Got into the shower this morning always check they are secure before holding on to them but this morning as I held the rail even after checking it was secured the one end came away from the wall lucky I still had a crutch on my other arm or I would have fallen down not feel safe with them now. The spring just popped out and the suction pad fell off pictures above

UPDATE again. The replacement one they sent me has now failed after 2months of use. Clearly, after 3 failures, there is a huge problem with this product and related safety. Down to one star and DO NOT BUY. The second one worked for a few months and now just falls off the wall. The first one is till great. So one star has come off. I have bought 2 of these for different properties and different needs. The first is to shorten the bath in my holiday home. It is too long for me. I use this as a foot rail, and it works brilliantly. The second one is for my walk in shower at home. I had major knee surgery and needed a small amount of support. It works really well, even though the tiles are very slightly textured. Highly recommended.

These are really good. They are very sturdy and the suction is verystrong and secure. It is important to clean the surface of the tiles before sticking the handle on, and of course you should check that it is still fully secured before every use. There is an indicator (red or green) to show that it is correctly attached. I still physically check before getting in to the shower. The suction is extremely strong. My husband tested it with his whole weight after he put it up for me, and it was solid as a rock. It didn't move or wobble in any way. It is a great help and gives me peace of mind when showering since my spinal issues.

These adhere really well to tiles and suction lasts a long time Worth the money. Strong and stable

Brilliant item. I am dodgiy in the showeri as I can no longer use the bath, which is upsetting. Bought these and a new bath seat, and can manage much better.

This is the second set of these I have purchased. A set for my daughters home and a set for mine. They give stability and are strong without having to drill into bathroom walls or tiles. They look good and give me confidence and support when showering or bathing. The red and green tabs show if they are coming loose and can re attach for safety easily. I am quite weighty and do not feel they are going to pull off when used. Highly recommend these for others with mobility issues to maintain personal care independently based on each individuals physical health.

I got this product for my mum who was visiting us - as we do not have any support/handrails for elderly/someone with disability. It was very easy to work out how to use and select the area to use. I wiped the surface area and opened the lock. I stuck down the handle and locked it in place. It is extremely sturdy and you can feel very confident when you're holding it (withstanding all your weight/strength) I use it regularly too and am extremely satisfied with the product - robust, great quality (well made) and sturdy. Definitely recommend it

Jag har tidigare köpt olika handtag med sugproppar som dels haft trög mekanism, dels dålig häftförmåga. Den här modellen verkar vara av högre kvalitet. Den var lätt att trycka fast mot kaklet. Den har signaler som ska visa grönt så länge det sitter på plats. Och den sitter fast hittills.

Der Haltegriff ist eine große Hilfe . Die Ausführung ist sehr stabil. Durch ein paar Handgriffe war der Haltehriff montiert. Alles selbsterklärend und auch ohne technisches Grundwissen leicht zu schaffen. Die Griffdicke ist so dimensioniert das er für jede Handgröße passt . Mittlerweile haben wir einen zweiten bestellt um auch die andere Seite der Dusche damit zu bestücken. Der erste hängt seit Monaten ohne auch nur einmal locker geworden zu sein. Die Fliesen auf denen die Griffe montiert sind würde ich sls klassische Wandfliesen bezeichnen. Nicht extrem glatt aber auch keine Struktur. Eine einfache Fliese der 80er Jahre. Bei zu groben Strukturen könnte es eventuell zu Problemen kommen. Ich kann den Griff uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
