Sturdy support
So bought this to avoid costly process of getting someone to come and change a rotten fence post. The fence was installed with a drive down anchor - so I couldnโt use the straight flat cheaper alternatives. The price of this isnโt amazing - but itโs cheaper than getting someone over to fix the post and the fastest way to fix the problem. One thing to note is itโs quite a task getting the reinforcement into the ground. You canโt just bash it in like instructions as no ground is ever that soft. So you have to be prepared to dig down 40cm. Iโd recommend getting some digging gloves for that. I only had my normal hand and a knife to dislodge soil. Next the steel once driven in didnโt perfect go against the fence post - so I added some extra wooden brackets which is fine, you canโt see in image but space was tight in my case as had concrete slab right in front of fence post. Overall though Iโm of the conclusion this was the most cost effective fix and the fence is super sturdy now.

Cheap crap, not fit for purpose
Don't buy this, it's a cheap bit of poorly made crap. I hammered the spiked end into the ground successfully, but when I applied the slightest amount of pressure with my fingers to the top part which bolts to the fence post the welds at the bottom of the triangular strengthening plates failed. Looks like they were done with a soldering iron! Had to give it 1 star to submit the review but should be zero

Did exactly what I hoped for
The old side fence in my back yard was very wobbly and tipping. We were expecting a storm and I knew this section wouldn't survive, so I researched options and purchased these stakes. What a great buy. The fence is as sturdy now as the day it was built. I watched it as the storm winds were peaking, and it barely moved - while a gate on the other side of the house was wrecked, as were numerous other fences in the neighborhood. Installation was a breeze. Depending on how dry/hard your ground is, you just need a small sledge hammer, and a drill or ratchet or similar to install the lug bolts into the post. But the thing that makes these stakes different is the dogleg offset. Aside from making it sturdier, it means you can install these OVER/AROUND the existing concrete footing, with zero or minimal concrete removal. Perfect!

Strong heavy-duty stakes that do difficult jobs rithe first time
They solved the problem. They are very sturdy and I cannot even rock the fence back and forth, I had my doubts but am now very impressed. I highly recommend. My fence posts were totally water damaged and leaning about two feet after a heavy rain and high wind knocked them over. Here are the choices you have to repair damaged fence posts - Fence posts are set into a poured cement base. Many of the competing stakes are designed to fit between the post and the cement. In my experience of doing this inevitable job for years and years was driving a metal stake with a 2 out of 3 success rate because sometimes there was no gap. So I ended up having to remove the old post, the cement base and install a new post and base. I exposed the posts and saw about 3" of rotten wood. I cleaned up and ended up cutting out the rot back to good wood so I ended up with a gap from 4" to 5". these stake are offset so they clear the outside of the cement base. So I drove them into the ground with a hand sledge on both sides. Be sure to use a level to assure it is perfect vertical! I used a 2x4x8 to hold the leaning side. Because I had a gap I built two three-sided wood frame (I used some old 6" wood shelves I had laying around but any scraps of wood will do). Make sure the top of the frame is higher than the cut on the post. I poured some quick drying cement into the frame, filled with water and let it dry. As I said, I'm impressed they even worked and are beyond my expectations.

Solid post repair
It really makes the post sturdy and once you drive it all the way in the ground you can see it's not flexing. Really happy that it has the length to drive down some others seem a few inches shorter which I question.
