Sometimes you don't realise quite how rubbish something is until you've tried something better. I'd been using those Diono car seat protectors for a while and they just didn't perform as well as I'd hoped so I gave these a try. Firstly, I didn't actually realise it was a two-pack so it was good value, secondly it has just got so many quality-of-live improvements over what I was used to that I was very impressed. Instead of having a really long velcro strap to secure the top part, of which 20cm+ is unused overlap for me, getting in the way and being annoying, this Drive Auto version has thick plastic hooks that slot with a little pressure onto the headrest steel pins and feel very sturdy. However the main improvement that makes it completely worthwhile is the fact that the top part has a semi-rigid bar inserted along the top which helps the seat protector hang over the full width of the car seat, keeping the muddy shoes of the little ones away. I can't communicate how big of a difference this is with a photo so if you get a second take a look at the side by side pics in my review - the Diono one simply crumped together in the middle eventually meaning that only 1/3 of the chair width was protected the 2/3 across each side was annoyingly uncovered totally defeating the purpose. The rigid bar in this one makes me so much happier that my seats will actually say clean. Seems well designed and great value so far.

Looked at several options before buying and am happy with the choice. This protector looks very much up for the job of keeping shoe prints of the back of the seats. It seems sturdy enough, and what I like most is the tight fit. It stays close to the back of the seat, no sagging.

Wish I had bought this the day I bought my new car! But it's never too late. It helps me keep the car in as good condition as possible. The little kickers sitting in the car can kick all they want now (although I wish they'd stop). Only disappointment was the fitting. It's pretty difficult to anchor it under the seat with the seat coil. It there was something else that could keep it secure in place, that would have been much better.

I have fitted these covers to the back of the front seats of our 2010 Skoda Yeti and the they fit perfectly. The fit well are tough and look look good in an unobtrusive way. We have two golden retrievers so they are already spattered in mud but are easy to wipe clean. Highly Recommended Pros Tough material. Good quality straps. Look good. Easy to wipe clean. Easy to fit and remove. Cons Fit the back of our Yeti seats perfectly, however I am not sure they would fully cover the back of larger seats.

The actual protector is good and tough, however the three stars is simply because it does not suit the C-class Mercedes very well. The hooks don’t easily fit underneath the front seat and the horizontal strap is far too short to go around. One of the hooks keeps undoing and the bottom of the protector rucks to the side and little feet have found the unprotected back of the front seat. I’m sure it will suit a lot of other cars better than the Merc.

I wasn’t sure if these would be any good and satisfy my requirements, but I was very wrong as they are excellent. I ordered 2, one for Hyundai i10 the other for a VW Tiguan (New model) both fit perfectly. They are very well made and both were very easy to fit. Despite my cars being very different they fit the seats very well. The straps and clips are sturdy and of good quality. I am very please with this purchase and would recommend them. 10/10

Good value and quality but personally I do not like the hooks to attach the protector to the bottom of the seat as in my car there are no suitable points and it does not hang properly. Have not tried the strap but as I have heated leather seats I think it would spoil the effect and then just having the hooks dangling would be unsightly and something for the kids to play with.
