Can I use this product to remove stains in granite countops?

It doesn’t say that you can but I would try it on a small area overnight and see what it does.I tried it on driveway pavers and it looked good for a week but then the stains were back.

Can the area be painted on after cleaning?

Yes. Be sure to sweep with a good stiff push broom. Afterwards, I chose to spray away residue with the hose.

Any tips on getting the white residue off? I have tried scrubbing and it is still there

I used a stiff brush. You could still see the white color. However after about 4 weeks the white was no longer evident
