Missing diode. Board looks reworked. Suspect at best.

Impossible to connect to a Mac
I cannot for love nor money get this thing to be recognised by the Mac, having used various ESP development platforms, and multiple USB C cables and multiple driver installations, I've now requested a refund. The seller is attempting every play in the book that isn't the 'process refund' button.No doubt this will be back up under a different listing at some point, but whilst this message is still here - avoid.
