I came across this extra strong white flour while researching the best flour for sourdough, after it was recommended by a small business. I’m a hobby baker and work almost exclusively with sourdough, and within just three weeks I’ve gone through six and a half bags — nearly 10kg — which really says it all. This flour is absolutely fantastic. It performs beautifully for creating and maintaining a sourdough starter, and it’s equally excellent for bread, pizza dough, and general baking. The dough strength, elasticity, and final results are consistently impressive. What really sets it apart is the protein content — it’s the highest I’ve been able to find on the British market, and you can genuinely feel the difference when working with it. I honestly wouldn’t want to use any other flour now. Very highly recommended.

This is the best flour for Sourdough without question. I’ve tried loads of different ones but always come back to this. Good price. Sometimes a bit short dated (although not out of date) so 1 star deducted. Otherwise good value product which consistently performs.

Unfortunately, this is the only flour I can buy now. This has ruined all other flour for me. I’ve never had such beautifully handlable dough with such little effort. Feels delightful. Handles such high hydration effortlessly. Not had a loaf come out anything less than perfect. My only complaint is that I can literally now never buy any other flour.
