Flir MR160 Imaging Moisture Meter

Arrived on time brought for friend said work well

We purchased this moisture meter and on arrival it was faulty, we contacted the company and after much toing and froing they agreed we could return the item. We asked for the item to be replaced but after some time this never happened, we then asked for a full refund to which they agreed, that was over 6 weeks ago and to date no monies have been refunded !!!We had to purchase a new meter which arrived and does work okay, it is frustrating that we are still waiting for our first purchase monies to be returned.David

I have been carrying out damp surveys for more than 25Years. The concept is good but the meter ergonomics a disaster as to analyse the defect you need multiple readings on various surfaces with not straightforward way of changing between scan mode and pin mode (measure). The scan mode sensor is flush with the back as is the IR camera (which has no protection) good in the office but not on site.I the infrared part is extremely poor, and the image quality/processing is not sufficient for diagnosis of a defect.
